What a waste!

What a waste of such a view and proximity to the beach!

Room 10, where we were allocated, suffered from reported / alleged daily water cuts during the mornings as lack of air conditioning in the bedroom (the equipment there only functioned as a fan merely).

It was upon arrival that we experienced the 1st water cut and the receptionist just lied to us, pretending it to be a general water cut throughout the municipality, yet the irrigation system for the lawn and flowers was running all right; soon after our complaint, the water magically reappeared in our room with simultaneous stopping of the garden’s irrigation…

During the following mornings the same ordeal was repeated every single day, with soap residues left on us and cold-hearted members of staff pretending they cared, yet unable to remedy!

The whole indoors lighting was inadequate, to say the least: in kitchen one couldn’t really use a knife safely because of the dimmest light there.

There was no pricelist displayed inside the room, despite the legal requirement for hotels in Greece to do so.

The staff at reception seemed to carefully listen to our complaints, but did nothing to remedy or improve or cix things. The only thing reception did was to demand an incredibly expensive price (skyrocketing up to €85 per night) for accommodation with absolutely no value for money at all…‼️…:-(

It’s a pity that our holiday in the magnificent Island of Samothrace was kind of ruined because of the dreadful experience of our suffering by...

We stayed at the hotel for 10 days and, without a doubt, it was an excellent option for our staying in Samothraki. ||Jelena was very helpful and attentive to our needs throughout our staying, from that very first phonecall to the check out process. ||We chose the suit and we found it to be really clean, spacious and private. The view was magnificent and we enjoyed the serenity of the environment! ||The breakfast was really tasty and served warm to our room (following all the Covid 19 health and safety guidelines). The loukoumades were a delight.||The location is excellent. Close to the best beach of the island (Pachia Ammos), just a ten minute drive to Chora and about twenty minutes to Vathres (Therma).||The beach there is really good for a morning swim. It is just 50m away, but the way back to the hotel might be steep for people with severe mobility issues.||We love to explore the island but you can also spend your day there (the pool and the beach are organised and the hotel serves coffee and drinks). ||Only downside was the internet access that was really bad (no 4G either). It got problematic when we had to work (even receiving and replying to emails was...
