We stayed at Olvios with friends and family on a stormy December Saturday night, before hiking to the peak of Dourdouvana. We appreciated the spacious rooms, with the cosy baby cot for our youngest, and absolutely stunning views of the opposite mountains (the ones that we were set to climb the next day!) from the equally spacious private veranda. The hotel has a beautiful coffee/lounge area, with very good music, fireplace, games, books and... views! We were there in winter, but I can imagine that it will also be very beautiful in the spring, summer and autumn. Positive - after such a long drive to arrive and everything closed they only offered my 4 year old a toast, nothing for my wife or I. The breakfast was continental but plentiful but did ask us if we wanted a cooked breakfast. They very kindly made our daughter a snack pack for our adventures. Read moreFor years i have stayed in many hotels throughout Europe and this definitely is the best accommodation I have stayed. The owner greeted us and spent time to get to know us and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms have floor to ceiling balcony door/windows offering breath taking mountain views. The breakfast provided was fantastic as it offered everything, including home-made, local produce which was delicious. A relaxing fireplace in the bar/lounge area to enjoy the warmth and stunning views, Dogs are even allowed in the lounge area to relax after a morning walk. Every fine detail at this hotel was considered, from the friendly staff, heating, the service, food, design of the rooms, everything...
