Krotiri Resort — Hotel in Municipality of Sithonia

Highly recommended if you are on holiday with children and looking for a place to relax, quiet, far from the usual, busy, towns and beaches, with all you need on premises. Many thanks to George for facilitating everything, Sofia for entertaining our daughter, Sotiris from the restaurant and the entire staff. RESORT: not crowded, parking, lots of green space and well maintained, small children playground, 3 pools, mini market, children entertainment in the morning and evening, quiet location loud music from a nearby beach bar in the weekend, but until 10pm. you'll need to take the car if you want to go anywhere. No restaurants within walking distance. ROOMS: we had a studio, very big, nice sea view, big balcony and bathroom, entrance from outside, so not much noise from other tourists like in a normal hotel. Air con is centralized, so very quiet, you can sleep with it on without problems. some of the furniture needs repair/replacement, cleanliness during the stay could be improved-vacuum at least twice a week, not just clean with a broom. RESTAURANT: very convenient, facing the back, you can relax while kids are playing, food was good and prices decent (not great), good music, room delivery available service was slow sometimes, some portions small and with no side dish, compared to other restaurants. Opening hours a little delayed for a summer vacation I believe. Breakfast starts at 8:30, lunch at 13:30. Breakfast could be improved. There are really good sweet options, but not that great savory ones. No local appetizers, no fruit except watermelon. At least a vegan milk would be appreciated. BEACH: not crowded, you can always find a spot. Free of charge sunbeds. Clean water and nice views. Prices at the beach bar are ok. Outside the restaurant operating hours, you cannot eat anything, even though there are some food options in the menu. Water entrance is one big rock, not suitable for children. But walking 20-30 m you'll find a sandy entrance. Beach cleanliness should be improved. Service should start earlier,...

I will start with the things we liked: Right off the bat, George was very welcoming and friendly. I liked that the hotel has a small beach right in front of it with a bar and the drinks are good. I liked the resort all in all, big area, it was quiet at night. Big room with a big bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The sheets were changed daily (I think) and the towels every 2 days-ish. Nice pools with warm water.

Now the things I did not like: The room is not a 4/5 star room, not at all. I was very disappointed in the bathroom, I will leave some photos. They would not properly vacuum the room and clean the bathroom. The breakfast was the same everyday, with minimal changes from day to day… and the containers looked very old. The server at the pool area tried to overcharge me (she actually did and I went back and questioned the prices). The restaurant is somewhat pricey and the food is not the best, but it’s ok for eating for 1/2...

The hotel is in a quiet/village area, just perfect for spending a very relaxing holiday. the room was great with a see view, always clean, the food was very good, with some traditional dishes for breakfast which enjoyed most (spinach and cheese pie!!). The sea has some stones at the entrance, but afterwards is perfect! The sun beds are plenty available all day long for both pool and beach. We also went to some private beaches (Rhodia is the best) and to some tavernas near by hotel - very good experiences .The entire team from hotel is making all the efforts to make your stay great and we thank them all, but especially to Ana, Sotiri, Ely from the pool bar and of course to George! You make our stay great and we have nice memories about our holiday at your hotel! Looking forward...
