Makai Beach Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Sithonia

A beautiful beach bar with chill and relaxing atmosphere Positives: The location is easily accessible and you can park freely on the street outside. The beds were very comfortable and offered deep shade. The menu is big enough and everything we ordered was delicious. Everyone was super friendly and overall the service was great. The beach is not overcrowded and there is a good space between the rows of chaise lounges and beds that offer more privacy than the usual beach bar. The music was great.

Negatives The beach bar is placed on two levels: the upper one is where the bar is and there is a zone with beds and grass. The lower level is where the beach is. We were put on the upper level and that worked great for us, because we were a big company. But have in mind that when you are in the sea, you don’t have a view on your belongings. The beach is nice, but there are rocks here and there. Definitely not the shallowest, but...

We are staying in the same exact place for yet another year and Makai beach bar is just around the corner, this is actually how we discovered it! But we will keep coming here even from a far distance because it is so worth it! This place is great and after 4 visits (!!) there is nothing even remotely critical I could say about it. The atmosphere is super relaxing yet classy, there are many different seating options, the music is nice and not too loud/invasive, the cocktails are interesting and delicious and the staff is super friendly and quick! Oh, there are also things to eat such as fruit bowls, paninis, burgers. Our family loved Makai! You should definitely come - to the beach or just during the evenings for a drink. ❤️

Nice secluded bar on the beach with mainly locals hanging out. The beach is pretty “shallow” just 2 rows of sunbeds but they do have a garden behind with much more. There was a 30€ minimal consumption for “one umbrella” which is not that hard to spend. The sea is shallow shallow shallow… thus the water is pretty warm. Too warm for my personal preference but great for families with kids. The food was very nice as were the fruit mix juices they serve.
