This is a great family owned place, really spacy, in a nice nature, enough space beach, for sitting beside poolside, for car, for kids... Service was really nice and everyone was so pleasent. Breakfast was tasteful and we can choose among different kinds of meals. Lunch or dinner in scope of halfboard was delicious, tried some really nice traditional Greek food that we never tried before. But, to be honest, for the hotel just next to the sea, the meals were too "meaty", we were expecting more fish and sea food. There was some, but in a really small amounts. Regardine hygiene, everything was so clean. Rooms are cleaned up every day, pool is clean, desks and everything. Pool is good for kids but nice for adults too. There is a part of pool which is deep 2.6 meters and enough length so that you can really swim. Regarding beach, the path to the beach could be better maintened, but its really close, and its reserved for the hotel guests. Sea is very nice and calm here, no speed boats and scooters which is great. After 14h the sea becomes blurry and all the dust from the bottom get mixed with the water and water becomes brown in first 20 meters. Presence of the mosquitoes was moderate, not that problematic. Hosts produce olive oil which is very good and you can order and buy. General impression: we had a really nice time at Maria's House, we had domestic and cosy atmosphere, we could leave our children (8 and 6) play outside around hotel with other kids without any worries and we would certainly like to come back there in the future. Greets to Natasa, Maria and always...

A Hidden Gem for a Relaxing Seaside Holiday!

This charming hotel may not be ultra-luxurious like those in the Maldives, but it offers everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, with a mix of classic and modern interiors. Families will love the connecting family rooms – essentially two separate rooms joined by a private door, each with its own bed, TV, air conditioning, balcony, and bathroom.

In the evenings, you may encounter a few mosquitoes, but all windows and balconies are fitted with protective nets for a peaceful night’s sleep. The hotel’s restaurant is lovely, especially the outdoor garden area which creates a beautiful dining atmosphere.

Private parking is available. The swimming pool is a true highlight – large, deep, and perfect for a refreshing dip. It also features a separate shallow section for young children. The surrounding garden and courtyard are beautifully maintained, with pine trees and vibrant flowers all around, offering a peaceful, natural setting.

The hotel has its own private sandy beach, fully equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. The sea is clear and calm, and while you may very rarely spot a “fried egg” jellyfish, they are completely harmless.

Above all, the hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming people, truly making you feel at home.

If you're looking for a relaxing and carefree seaside getaway, this place is a...

What a great experience! This was a blast. This place is a dreamy vacation spot. The combination of family friendly and alternative vacation in one place. The pool was very relaxing and for those that want to swim in the Halkidiki waters there is a private beach. (i stayed in the pool). Internet was more available in all premises of the hotel (room/pool/restaurant/lobby/parking) and the stuff was very friendly. This hotel became my favorite spot in halkidiki and I will visit again.
