Maria Elena Villas — Hotel in Municipality of Sithonia

Our spontaneous decision to stay 2 more nights in Greece was crowned with success by the owner's acceptance to rent one of the villas only for this period. In fact, the villa was to be rented exactly on the day we were leaving. I say this because it is customary for such villas not to be rented for periods shorter than 1 week, hence the appreciation. About the Villa only good. Comfortable, harmonious, with everything you need in it, and the icing on the cake was the very generous pool with clean and pleasant water. The beautiful, uncrowded beach is just a few minutes walk away. The nearby restaurant has very good and fresh food and pleasant service. I highly recommend working with the people at Villas Maria Elena. Not to forget Lola, who supplied us with fresh bread every day and helped us every time we needed it. We spent 12 days in Villa Aphrodite, 4 adults and 3 children and we couldn’t ask for more: since the first day (actually, even before our arrival), Savvas, Maria, Lola and all the staff have been super kind and at our disposal for any kind of request. We asked for an every day cleaning service for a very reasonable extra price, otherwise cleaning is made every 2 days. The staff provide fresh bread every morning for free! Aphrodite Villa is very nice and well kept: we enjoyed staying at the pool or at the patio even when the days were really hot! The position is strategic to reach the most famous beaches or towns of the area, but you can easily reach a nice beach, a lovely taverna and a mini market by walking distance. First of all we couldn't communicate with the staff because the telephone numbers on their site were not working at all. We tried to find the hotel but it was extremely difficult, as their hotel sign was almost invisible. So, we drived 30 minutes with no reason as we couldn't reach anyone to ask for directions. The staff was nowhere to be found and there wasn't any kind of check in counter. The room was very neglected and cleaning every 3 days. It wasn't a value for money.
