Rokka Rooms — Hotel in Municipality of Sithonia

5 stars? Ohhh yes!!! Why? 1 the location is one of the best in Vourvouru, you can see the sea, the sunrise, the great Mount Athos

2 they have a splendid olive tree garden...such a great pleasure when you get a sun burn and you want to rest for one day and not goin to the beach to stay in the garden at the shadow of the olive tree and have a beer ...also very romantic!!!

3 like the most it is a family buissnes...an old house from generation to generation to stay and to feel like in the granparents home...it is so nice!

4 the hosts are so kind and warm wellcoming us and so careful about everything

5 do not expect for luxury, see the pictures first... but expect for joy romance and a traditional time spended in Greece, it is like this... you want luxury...take a 5 stars hotel if you have money for that 🤣

6 we were able to make barbeque and to party in the garden

7 just cross the road and vis a vis it is a snack store with beer, wather, delicious ice cream, snacks, cofee

The rooms are clean and well equipped. They have a huge back yard with olive trees and grass, where you can relax, if you get over the mosquitoes. The biggest down side of this accomodation is the NOISE during the night, coming from the road which is just a few meters away. We really had trouble sleeping. If you keep the balcony doors open, it's too noisy, if you close them, it gets too hot, if you turn on the AC, it gets too cold, so you have to close it after one or two hours, so of course it gets hot again. We were craving for our home good night sleep. Anyway, it was amongst the cheapest accomodations in the area, but in my oppinion the noise during the night didn't make it up for us. It might be us, I don't know, maybe we are sensitive to noise, given that there are not many reviews where people mention this aspect, but hopefully this review will help others who are a bit...

😊: Wonderful place with a perfectly clean, well equipped and nice room and beautiful big garden behind the house. From the balcony you can even see Mount Athos and the sea. We had everything we need and enjoyed our short stay very much! The best thing was the host Katerina. Before we arrived the communication was already very good and helpful. From the moment we arrived she was so kind, helped us out in different ways, e.g. providing us a free shuttle service by her husband. Such a lovely family! We hope to come back one day.. 😢: The location is not a problem if you have a car, but if you come by bus like we did, it’s hard to reach the house (you need to walk on a fast road without sidewalk because the house is directly on a busy main road) and the centre/beaches.
