Sikia Village houses — Hotel in Municipality of Sithonia

Excellent accommodation, that we definitely highly recommend! Very clean, well designed, top materials used for construction, all giving a nice home feeling.

PRO: The guest house is equipped with almost everything: towels and toiletries, including slippers and floor towel, fully equipped kitchen, hair dryer, clothes iron, hangers, clothes rack for outside drying, extra warm duvets, Nespresso machine, with complimentary welcome capsules and a bottle of water. Upstairs bedroom has a king size bed, and is open (no walls, no door), overlooking the kitchen and living room, while the dowstairs bedroom is regular, and has two twin beds that can be joined together. Barbeque place is available in the courtyard between certain hours. Parking place is offered for each house, included in the rate. For those travelling with kids, there is a small playing ground behind the guest houses, and plenty of courtyard to play outside.

MINUS: Soundproofing could be greatly improved. Only things missing, that could be useful for those staying longer, are a washing machine, and maybe an oven / microwave. We didn't miss any of those, as we only stayed for 3 nights.

TIP: If you call and reserve directly with the owners, you will surely get a better rate that popular booking websites.

The houses are completely new, spacious and equipped with things essential for living like a fridge with a freezer, cutlery, plates, pans etc. The beds are comfortable, there are roller blinds and mosquito nets. It is a two-stored house with one isolated room with two beds. A room on the upper floor has a doublebed and its own toilet. The hosts were a very nice couple and Ana, the wife, spoke English quite well. Their house is located in front of the Village houses, so there is some isolation from the main road. Very comfortable, clean and tidy house. The apartment has two bathrooms, a separate bedroom for kids and an upstairs bedroom for adults. The terrace is spacious with a nice Mountain View. The apartments even get cleaned daily.

The area has a large garden and even a playground with slide and swing.
