2023 update: Second time-the last time.. This year we stayed at a different room type, which is by any standard 2 people room, not 4. AC is not working properly, we are still waiting for the technician to come and fix it. Albanians are employees, so their English speaking ability is of no use. They mostly spend their time gossiping and speaking in Albanian. They are currently doing some renovation around the yard, and they love starting their work early in the morning. The biggest change this year is the horrible behavior of the owner. Dude (65+) is seriously lacking basic communication skills. His idea of talking is yelling instead. So, if you are a normal type of people, beware. We had a dispute regarding the use of a swimming pool. He will try to enforce a ban regarding kids not being allowed to enter the swimming pool. In addition to all things mentioned there was ever present obnoxious smell of something similar to sewer. So, forget about balcony time. And finally, avoid this place if you are above 180 cm, everything is built for Hobbits. I am not a travel expert, I've been around the World, take my advice-save your time, money and well-being and avoid this place. 2022 review: Really nice place. Rooms are in typical Greek style. But, everything is new, and that's a plus. Furniture is from Ikea, so it's functional. Wifi works, but don't expect high-end speeds. Parking is available, swing pool is average, but grill and yard are a big plus. Lidl is 23km away, and this could be the biggest drawback. No supermarkets, no bakeries and no restaurants nearby-there is one pricey local restaurant. If you are looking for a quite and 200m +- distance from natural shaded...
Read moreThe most HORRIBLE sojourn I've ever experienced!!! We arrived at the accommodation 1-2 hours later than the check-in and the cleaning staff had just started cleaning our room. Furthermore, the said staff, in the middle of a pandemic, were not wearing masks. What else is there to say about that? Another thing that I would like to highlight is that the room was poorly equipped, meaning that the kitchen supplies and cookware were limited and rather non-existent. Moreover, as I mentioned earlier upon our arrival at the site we were met with the staff "cleaning" our room and I wrote cleaning in quotations because the job they did shouldn't be considered cleaning. Needless to say that the condition of the bathroom was unsanitary, the bathroom was full of traces from the previous tenant. The shower drain had not been cleaned and hairs from the previous tenant were still there. We only lasted 2 days with such poor living conditions. I would also like to comment on the fact that not even once during our stay did the cleaning staff come to clean our room. Another thing worth mentioning is that the TV screen was extremely dirty and there were red lines on the screen making it hard to watch the TV. To top it all off the room was full of insects. To exemplify, we found a huge spider on our bed, which was quite uncomfortable itself as the mattress was hard as a rock. Honestly, sleeping on bricks seemed a great alternative and a more comfortable at that. Finally, the internet service was very poor and the host was extremely rude...
Read moreVery good place for families with small kids. Indeed, it is a bit far from the big markets (Bazzar, Masoutis) and in general from event places (N.Marmaras is the closest one) but for a real peace of mind and mind rest, this is the good place to be.
Rooms are OK, AC is paid on the spot, garden apartmans (ground floor) is great for small kids as they have a bit of the space in front of the building to play. Apartments near the main stairs to the swimming pool are in the shade of the olive trees during the day.
The main bed is very big but the added 3/4th bed ain't that much comfortable but you can get decent sleep. Free parking around.
Hot water ain't available at the late night/morning hours as it is solar-heated.
Swimming pool is big enough for some refreshing and for using one's there is also swimming pool.
There is BBQ place and a bar opened last year. Closest shop is around 200m in the nearby camping and if power-cut happens, they have a power generator so their shop will keep...
