When we first visited Tonis we had no idea that we were in for a treat. since then we have gone back 4 times, enjoyed each and every visit, ate to the point we barely could leave and regretted not discovering them earlier.

Food: tasty, local, fresh and traditional. portions are big, so make sure to double check with them if extra salads or fries are actually needed, but don't worry if you over order, they will offer to pack it for take away. (sweets and a bottle of water are served on the house) we tried the following Main dishes: red snapper fish (which we chose from their daily fresh stock), it was grilled to perfection, tasty and cleaned from bones. Sun dried octopus: drying it definitely elevates the taste, but that comes with a small downside of being slightly chewy, we liked it nonetheless. Grilled shrimps: these were the best shrimps we tried in Sithonia.

Appetizers: Small appetizer plate: from eggplant salad to different cheeses and tzatziki to picked and boiled herbs, combined with the provided grilled bread was on it's own a meal. fried zucchini: best in the area, really tasty, not full of oil, came with decent amount of tzatziki, personally this was my go to appetizer. eggplant salad (mountain athos recipe): the taste wasn't similar to anything i tried before for an eggplant salad as it was more based on elevating the eggplant taste with salty feta cheese and grilled peppers, it was a fresh choice for the hot days. Talagani: my favorite cheese in greece, it's a grilled cheese served with sweet jam and balsamic vinegar, the combination is just amazing. bouyourdi: the mix of the cheeses was balanced, freshly cooked and the over baking made a cheese crust that simply made me go fingers deep to finish every last bit of the dish.

Deserts: ( sweets are on the house) millefeuille: it's a twist from the traditional french recepie, but it was light, airy and delicious cheese cake: even tho it was a bit too sweet for my personal taste, I liked it.

staff: They were really friendly and welcoming, they always smiled and made sure everything was ok. offered food recommendations and helped us choose the better tasting fish. really felt like we were going to a friends house for dinner. service was fast, friendly and on point.

Location: the tables near the pool and in the middle of the olive garden were hard to beat in many other locations in Sithonia, the atmosphere was calm and inviting. even tho the pool isn't for swimming, it offers a nice touch to the place. parking is available both on site and outside of the restaurant premises.

to be honest as a conclusion, Tonis was a great experience that we almost skipped as we initially went to a competitive fish tavern in the area based on reviews, but left with a very bad experience that almost made us go to Nikiti daily(35km commute) for food until we found Tonis. 10/10 will come here again on...

We went out for a dinner at Tonis tavern. We are locals in the area and we have heard some nice recommendations about the food. We arrived when the place was not busy and we had a dog in our company. The manager offered us only a table by the end of the restaurant because we had the dog and he didn't want any trouble as other times he mentioned it happened. We respected this of course until we have seen after an hour 3 more companies arrived with dogs and they have been sat in the main yard of the tavern straight away. I know, It's not a big deal, but after all, we felt very dissapointed and frustrated because we thought that this place discriminate some customers from others and this is not nice at all. The most important thing when someone goes out, before food is to make them feel special and respectful and this unfortunately, didn't happen in Toni's. We won't go again and sadly not...

Hi guys, let me tell you about experience at tonis. We ordered 2 coffees, anchovy saganaki and greek salad. Waitress was friendly and relatively funny. I took it as a joke as well when she brought me milk to my coffee when the coffee was already finished. The food was allright as well. It switched when I wanted to pay and big boy tonis took out his paper notebook and started to count. As I was not paying attention he added some form of tourist tax to the bill. I paid, and after I asked the waitress if she is sure that the price was correct. She switched from friendly to offensive mode and told me I already paid, what I want. Then told me that the tourist tax I paid was for bread, water and sweets that she offered and brought to the table before as a gift. Hope you invest your extra money for proper cash machine big boy tonis, many people around you would benefit from it,...

Second year in Simonitiko Apartments and Tonis fish restaurant is again our choice for a good food. Prices are average like in the most Greek restaurants, service is great. You can always find a table for you and your family. Toilets are clean, restaurant itself is cozy, warm and spacious. Also, you can buy olive oil from the restaurant owner (5L /50e) as well as vacuumed black olives (price at the date of the review is 10e). Free parking is available and if you want to go to the Simonitiko bay Beach it is 50m down the road (on foot). The restaurant itself is a bit away from Neos Marmaras and direct access to the main road Neos Marmaras - Toroni, but worth coming to have a dine in. If we come next year, we will surely order here again.

We are often going there and majorly I was not disappointed much, till now, especially this year. The stuff is below the minimum - unprofessional, rude, inadequate. We came to eat at 21:20 (there were 6-7 busy tables) and after 50 min. we had only a bottle of water on the table- on top of everything - we were cursed because we told them that this is not professional at all… no words to describe. Sorry, but this is not the way you are keeping customers.
