We had a disappointing stay here a couple of weeks ago. The welcome by Criton was not very welcoming and after that we were quite disappointed with the farm the room and the possibilities for our kids to play around... The food was great, but very expensive. The view from the restaurant is extraordinary. The AC in the rooms was noisy, soapies from palm oil in plastic containers, no honey from the farm at breakfast, just a few plants in the garden to use for cooking, road towards the guesthouse was not well maintained, playground was work in progress etc. We felt as if they weren't ready for the season or just taking it easy. That's ok, but not for this price. I think 160 euro in middle season was too much.
We have our own farmhouse at home so we are used to sheep, vineyard, growing our own veggies. We were not impressed, maybe coming from another background other people would be. We originally booked for 6 nights. After some talking they agreed to let us go after 3 nights, it cost us 115 euro extra to buy our freedom. It was worth it, we were happy to leave and didn't regret leaving...

Furthermore, the other 2 doing the lesson at the same time, Lina and Melina were so kind and an absolute pleasure to enjoy the lesson with. Whilst that may seem irrelevant to some, I believe it is a beautiful place like this that brings kind-hearted individuals like these to their metaphorical doorstep.
I would absolutely recommend this. Thanks to the family who run the farm for the experience and giving me a brief...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I could sadly one enjoy a coffee and a freshly pressed orange juice due to an unfortunate mismanagement of time on our side. Putting aside that both of these drinks were great in taste, the service was welcoming. We were even shown the menue for the next week so as to gently persuade as to come back. Unfortunately, we couldn´t. So if you´re reading this and looking for a place with a stunning view, formidable service and a menue apparently all grown local, and thought of by the manager herself - then Bioporos is the restaurant for you! And their sleeping accomodations seemed...
