Porto Bello Tinos — Hotel in Municipality of Tinos

We came here straight from 3 days in Athens. Mario was waiting for us at the port. He took us to the super market on the way to the hotel as it's up a hill and quite isolated however.....when you get there...wow!!!! The hotel was spotless and mario and his wife very friendly, the outdoor pool was just perfect. We travelled with our 16yr old daughter and 10yr old son. They loved it to and want to go back. When the mist lifts above the Aegean, you can see Mykonos, Naxos, Delos, Syros, Paros and right in the distance, Sifnos. It was extremely quiet but that what we needed after Athens. ||Mario will take you to the port or to the beach and you just phone him when you want to come back and he comes and gets you, We've travelled around a good few islands in Greece and Tinos is now one of our favourites and we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else when we go back. Loved this place! Location was great, one block from a lovely sandy beach, two blocks from a small grocery store, with plenty of parking (it's well outside the main town, so a car is helpful). ||We had a two-bedroom apartment, one with a queen bed and one with two single beds, there were two bathrooms, and a living/dining room with kitchenette, all very spacious. We also had a private patio area that was very pleasant (some of the upstairs rooms had balconies), with a place to hang wet swimsuits. This was truly one of the most remarkable accommodation and hospitality experiences we've ever had. The room itself was outstanding – modern, comfortable, featuring an excellent bed, impeccable cleanliness, and equipped with all the necessary facilities. The breakfast was a delight, offering a variety of traditional local products that changed every day. Furthermore, there's a stunning beach with golden sands merely 30 meters away from the hotel, which remains serene even during the island's strong northerly winds.

However, the true highlight of this hotel is Antonia, who is undoubtedly the finest hostess we've ever encountered. Her hospitality made us feel entirely at home! We're already planning our next visit – it can't come...
