Corinthian Villas — Hotel in Municipality of Velo and Vocha

Luxurious it is not, by far. Old interior, utilities are not complete and a mix of old random stuff. For instance there are but a few matching glasses. Down stairs bedroom is ok but upstairs is only reachable by a ladder and the bedroom is small with a very low ceiling. The living room is not comfortable either, couches are in need of attention. The television is hidden away on the other wall of the house and cannot be viewed from the living room. No explanation by the host when arriving so something’s were unclear. When confronted the host did try to solve things but did not succeed in everything. We felt a bit cheated by the reviews online and pictures provided. There is a large discrepancy between the outside area and the house. It is more a bungalow than a villa. Some things in the house need fixing and it seemed that it was not looked over for a while. No attempts to remedy the broken things, like a toilet seat, were undertaken during our stay. We got the impression the host was busy with other things and found us a nuisance when we contacted him for clarification or just basic stuff that should have been taken care of before we arrived. A very good choice of villa for our family (2 adults and 2 older teens) with 3 good sized bedrooms, with effective air conditioning. Pool is a really useful feature and was extremely clean and a good size; we used it a lot. There is off road parking on site The local area is between the main road through Vrachati and the beach. Beach has a good range of bars and restaurants; the beach itself is clean and good for swimming, although quite pebbly. Villa is nearly 5 stars but there was a bit of a shortage of cutlery (we bought some knives) and plates, nothing that a short trip to IKEA would sort! Excellent host and an excellent villa. Our pool was private clean and with a very beautiful garden. Only 1 hour from the center of Athens and although it is in a very quiet secluded street, it is very close to the beach and to many stores for coffee groceries and food. The rooms were excellent and had air conditioning. The host brought us anything we wanted when asked. Recommend this for groups of people that want to chill all day in the pool with loud music...
