Casa Mainotti — Hotel in Municipality of West Mani

We stayed there for a weekend, but we will definitely go there again and for more days next time. The place is located in a small village, and it is the ideal choice for those who want a peaceful and quiet vacation. The apartment is very nice and cozy with a big kitchen/living room and comfortable beds. The place is fully equipped with kitchen, dishwasher, laundry, convertible couch, and all the necessary stuff to accommodate couples or families. There is also a garden where we relaxed and enjoyed the sunset. There are many places to swim within 10-20 minutes by car (Stoupa, Kalogria, Foneas, Delfinia). On our first day, we chose to go to Kalogria, which is a very good option for those who want some comfort as it offers a variety of beach bars and restaurants. On our second day we went to Foneas which is a wonderful beach and probably the best in the area. We stayed there for around two hours and used the canteen, however if you plan to stay for more hours you need to have an umbrella with you. A heartwarming and beautiful place. We stayed for a couple of weeks and we fell in love with the atmosphere, coziness, spaces, surroundings, and the overall feeling that they instil. The location is excellent, no problem with parking on the street (there is space for cars left/right from the church), and it is a great homebase to explore Mani and beyond without being directly inside the touristic madness of Kardamyli etc. Thank you dear hosts for enabling such a wonderful stay and memories for us. Μείναμε τέσσερα ενήλικα άτομα στο κατάλυμα για δύο βραδιές. Το κυρίως διαμέρισμα ήταν στον πρώτο όροφο, άψογο, καινούριο, πλήρως εξοπλισμένο, πολύ προσεγμένο. Οι χώροι αρκετά ζεστοί αλλά ευτυχώς στο υπνοδωμάτιο και στο καθιστικό υπήρχαν air-condition, οπότε κανένα πρόβλημα. Εάν ήθελες βέβαια άφηνες τα παράθυρα ανοιχτά και από τις σίτες έμπαινε δροσιά το βράδυ. Αποτελείτο από μία κρεβατοκάμαρα, ένα μπάνιο, κουζίνα και σαλονάκι με έναν καναπέ που μπορούσε να γίνει και κρεβάτι. Για ένα ζευγάρι ή μια οικογένεια με 2 παιδάκια είναι εξαιρετικό. Οι βεράντες πολύ όμορφες, ο κήπος υπό διαμόρφωση αλλά με προοπτική. Για το συγκεκριμένο διαμέρισμα θα έβαζα 5 αστέρια χωρίς καμία σκέψη. Δυστυχώς όμως ενοικιάζεται μαζί και ένας επιπλέον μικρός χώρος, ως δεύτερο υπνοδωμάτιο, με ένα κτιστό κρεβάτι, χωρίς μπάνιο, με διαφορετική είσοδο, που βρίσκεται στον ισόγειο και επικοινωνεί με το κυρίως διαμέρισμα μόνο από τις εξωτερικές σκάλες. Θεωρώ την ενοικίαση του συγκεκριμένου «υπνοδωματίου» μεγάλο πρόβλημα κι ελπίζω άμεσα ή να διορθωθεί προσθέτοντας ένα WC ή να καταργηθεί. Η πρόσβαση στο κατάλυμα δεν προβλέπεται για άτομα μεγαλύτερης ηλικίας ή άτομα με ειδικές ανάγκες. Δεν υπάρχει χώρος στάθμευσης εντός του οικοπέδου του καταλύματος,...
