TL;DR Hotel is okay, but almost everything is dated. Pool is nice, but salt. Rooms are ok, but dated, nice beds in bedroom, but beds in living room are not suited for adults. Breakfast is mediocre. Overall score: 7 ‏‏‎ Complex overall: The hotel consists out of many buildings, lobby/reception, the pool area and the restaurant. It has a garden in the center. The buildings are connected with ugly concrete paths and it really needs some renovation, some things look like they are falling apart. You can see they are improving things because of the stacks of old mattresses and old pool beds. There is enough parking space for your car and you can park in the shade. ‏‏‎ Scores: Overall impression: 6 Parking: 9 Paths: 5 Buildings: 6 Overall score: 6.5 ‏‏‎ Apartment: The apartment is not too small nor too big. It has two real beds with real mattresses and two "beds" in the living room with no mattresses, but some kind of mats. This is NOT suited for adults or kids above 12. The real beds have new mattresses and are very comfortable. The balcony is nice and big enough. Everything is very dated though. Especially the bathroom, it really needs to be refurbished. This also applies to the kitchen. They don't expect you to cook and good luck if you want to. The apartment does have free AC, which works well and cools the whole apartment. ‏‏‎ Scores: Overall impression: 7 Bedroom beds: 9 living room beds: 2 Kitchen: 5 Bathroom: 5 Balcony: 8 Overall score: 6 ‏‏‎ Pool area: The pool is salt, as salt as the sea. I personally dislike this. However, because this is a personal opinion I won't include this in my scores. The pool is quite big and not too cold nor too warm. It does need some renovation. The tiles on the sides are coming loose and are dirty. The stair on the side really needs to be replaced as well. The pool area itself is really nice though. There are plenty of beds and parasols and they are really good. There also is place to sit and you can order drinks at the bar or can eat at the restaurant. ‏‏‎ Scores: Overall impression: 9 Pool: 8 Beds and parasols: 9 Overall score: 8.7 ‏‏‎ Breakfast: Breakfast is in the form of a buffet. It is from 7 to 11am. The breakfast is mediocre. There are hot and cold drinks, fruits and vegetables, corn flakes, cottage cheese, scrambled and boiled egg, cake, Greek cheese pie and a variety of bread and toppings. The egg was most of the times cold, but especially the coffee, hot chocolate and cake are very good. Everything gets restocked fast. What's nice is that you can enjoy the breakfast nearby the pool in the shade, but the seats aren't that nice. ‏‏‎ Scores: Overall impression: 7 Variety: 6 Quality: 7 Seating: 7 Overall score: 6.8 ‏‏‎ Location: The hotel is around 3 km located from Molyvos and has the beach nearby. You can find out the rest yourself and I won't include this in my final score because the hotel can't do anything about their location. ‏‏‎ Conclusion: Summing every score up comes to a score of 7 and I think that's a representative score for this hotel. I don't think I would go here again if I would visit Lesbos again and wouldn't recommend the hotel that quickly. Not that it's bad, but you just can get a lot better. If you are traveling as a couple, don't mind it being outdated and like salt water pools it gets my recommendation, otherwise would I look for...

The photos correspond to reality.|Nice hotel away from the tourist trails right on the beach. Transfer to Molivos 4 times a day - 5 minutes to drive. If there are a lot of people, the minibus will make as many trips as necessary, but you will have to wait. I would like to note the helpfulness and diligence of the chauffeur (he is also the gardener) - a working man, in such a heat! Thank you for your service.|Very nice greeting on arrival at the hotel. Alexandra was top notch - thank you for your attention to my wishes and such a luxurious welcome! You did an excellent job. Everything in the appartement is very simple but clean and pleasant. Wet cleaning was done every day. Thank you to the caring woman who cleaned apartment 279 from 8-16 June! You are very positive and do your job well. My best wishes to you.|Kitchen utensils are minimal, but I asked for a kettle and a frying pan at reception and they gave me it. Generally, all the staff are very good at communicating, positive and knowledgeable. Thank you very much, guys! |Buy greens and vegetables from the greengrocer in a makeshift stall right behind the hotel on the road (to the right of the hotel) - everything grows here, behind the fence. Very tasty. Cheap.||Excellent clean big pool with sea water, beautiful territory around, but when I went to the pool there were no free sunbeds. Good that I did not need: I went to the sea.|There is a minimarket, but in terms of food on it do not count on it. You can buy drinks, milk, ice cream, bread, bathing and sanitary accessories. All at a minimum.|The tap water is ok for drinking, no flavour. Beautiful sunsets right from your poolside sun lounger.||At the hotel the descent to the sea is steep, but 100 meters away you can go in. It's shallow and the water is very clear. I recommend to take bathing slippers - the pebbles are large. |Molivos is beautiful and authentic. Immediately buy dry food for cats - there are a lot of them everywhere, they are part of the urban environment. You must go to the castle to watch the sunset. Do not go there in the daytime - it's hot, it's hard. There is 2 restaurants on the top, but you can just se sunset from the bench. |There are no supermarkets, there are small 3-4 shops. Prices everywhere are nearly the same, high for Greeks. There is a pharmacy on the pedestrian walkway, prices are touristy. The best supermarket in terms of assortment is the one next to the pharmacy. And TK's supermarket - less goods there, but very sociable and pleasant owner Dimitros. He will cheer you up, tell you stories, give you tips. He feeds the cats that come in (nice man!) and you can buy cat food from him...

We spent 2 weeks in the Panselinos Apartments in Eftalou, just outside Molyvos in Lesvos. Firstv2 weeks if September. Weather lovely. Still hot but not too hot to do anything. Our apartment was clean and comfortable. Free air conditioning is good. We were offered to swap our first floor apartment for a ground floor one , which we were grateful for because of the steps to the first floor. The apartment is self catering but don't expect much to be provided. Only one saucepan plus a little hot water boiling pan. No kettle, no frying pan. 2 electric rings. Very few items of crockery or cutlery. Just about enough for 2 people in an emergency! We bought anything we needed. The owner said afterwards a frying pan could have been provided even though our really great cleaner told us they weren't provided. The cleaner was lovely. She cleaned every day. The breakfast was included and was good. Lots of choice. I preferred to make my own tea in the room though and ate my breakfast there. The water wasn't really hot enough for tea in the machine at the buffet counter. The guests were from loads of different countries , which we loved. Mostly Germans. Dutch and Danes. Also lots of Greek guests. Hardly any British people there. English was spoken , but usually by the other guests when speaking to the staff because it was the universal language everyone understands. The pool area was nice. There's a bar serving food. A bbq on Sundays. We rarely ate there because we prefer to eat in lots of places in various resorts. There's a small mini market on site but it was poorly stocked and closed. A sign said if you needed anything they would open it for you specifically. You need a car if you stay here. It's a few minutes drive away from Molyvos. There's a free shuttle bus a few times a day provided by the accommodation and a local bus stop outside the apartment but these only take you to Molyvos and the local area. A little road train shuttles back and forth between Molyvos Harbour and Petra. There's a little beach and one taverna a few minutes walk away from the accommodation but not much else nearby. The hot springs are not far away. The Golden Beach taverna is lovely. Again only a few minutes drive away. Or a decent walk if you don't have transport. We really enjoyed our stay. No complaints. We had a view of the sea from our balcony. Very quiet. Lovely staff. A...

This is truly an amazing hotel, fantastic pool with seperated kids pool (both saltwater) we were there in August for 2 weeks never had trouble getting sunbeds. Overall a quiet place, very peaceful. Rooms are quite small and very basic, very comfy beds, and always plenty of hot water for showers/baths. Free aircon in rooms which was fab in August. not many utensils provided just a fridge, 2 ring hob, water pan and cooking pan, few plates, cups etc.. no way you can self cater, but with breakfast provided and nice food available at bar all day no need to cook. Great breakfast with good choices, lovely chilled bar area serving food/drink all day 10am to 2am (be aware, massive portion sizes 😂) and very reasonable prices. Cleaner comes in everyday, bedsheets/towels changed regularly. Pebble beaches within few minutes walk, most apartments had Seaviews. Mainly Dutch, German, Danish, greek guests not many from uk but everyone spoke English (to differing degrees) and we're lovely. Free hotel minibus into/back from molyvos 5 times a day. Local bus stops outside hotel €1.80 to go anywhere. Small shop on site selling essentials and icecreams etc.. Again same prices as shops in town.tourism tax was €1.50 per day. Would highly recommend this place if looking for a chilled out holiday with good food, great company and no sunbed wars 😂. we are already looking at dates for 2024.

The Panselinos Apartments are really nice. They are basic Greek rooms. Self catering , but very limited equipment. No kettle, a Greek water boiling pan is provided . No frying pan. Ask for one if you need it because they may supply one. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Cleaner came in every day. Pool and bar both good. Breakfast included and was good. Sea view from the apartments. Beach nearby with a taverna. Hot springs are a bit further away and the Golden Beach taverna is lovely. A few minutes drive away or a fair walk. Free shuttle bus to lovely Molyvos. Service bus also outside the accommodation to local area. Road train available from Molyvos to Petra, a lovely town. Car hire was really useful. We visited everywhere on the island. Everything was lovely. Air conditioning was free and free WiFi was good too. Mini Market on site was closed but sign said if you wanted anything to ask receptionist.

The hotel is lovely, with spacious rooms, cleaned regularly and a really nice pool and eating area. The staff are great and the chef is a great character. The location is about 40 mins walk from Molyvos, but this is quite hilly. There is a shuttle bus into molyvos, but its 4 hourly intervals are a bit long. If you are not going to the beach, 4 hours in a small town like Molyvos is too long. An ideal schedule would be every 2 hours, and that would get you back to the hotel in time for lunch, which is very nice. The breakfast is a mix of Greek and continental, with omelettes thrown in. The evening meal is either a buffet or fairly varied a la carte, which again is very nice. The hotel and gardens are surrounded by farmland on 3 sides and the sea, with mainland Turkey, about 5 miles distant. This is a place to come to avoid hordes of tourists and the associated tourist tat.
