Plaza Palace Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Western Lesvos

It was dismal it really was there was two balcony but both was filthy in bat poo inside was just as bad we was there for 2 weeks and the maid cleaned the place twice the bar and pool area is quite nice with quite music and a large outdoor bar area with a outdoor seating the surroundings are not pleasant with half built buildings and scraggly tree plots the staff don't want to know once you pay them and the actual apartment is damaged all the mosquito nets don't work because there ripped the kitchenette because we had self catering was just as bad no utensils to force us to go out to eat there was 3 cups no hot water though the kitchen tap the beds where rock hard there only thing going for it is the rest of the island looks lovely with its greenery and big beaches and the big bars and restaurants on the seaside it was all in all not a nice holiday definitely won't go again and wouldn't recommend this hotel there needs to be obvious changes made to this place for it to even be considered a...

Just arrived back from an amazing holiday in Anaxos with our three kids. Plaza Palace is a lovely, family orientated and quiet hotel. The owners and family are nice people, the rooms are clean and spacious and the location is perfect. The pool area is lovely, no issues with getting sunbeds and everything is kept very clean. The pool bar is very well stocked and prices are good, snacks are served all day and are very nice, we really enjoyed the gyros and kids couldn't get enough watermelon! Breakfast was continental and plenty of it for us. Pretty much all guests we met have returned for years and tend to know each other, all the kids had great fun in the pool! The surrounding area and beach is lovely with a good selection of authentic restaurants. Anaxos feels so safe and has a nice laid back feel. We went to plaza palace 8 years ago for our honeymoon and loved it, we decided we'd go back this year as we really enjoyed it and Anaxos is lovely. We weren't disappointed, Plaza Palace was even better than last time, never too busy but plenty of people to have a convo with and share experiences, the family that own plaza palace can not do enough for you and are so lovely! They are always on hand to give you a mythos beer or an extra sheet for the bed! Theirs no jostling for sunbeds here and a lovely continental breakfast in the morning. If you rent a car they have their own carpark which really takes alot of stress out of things. We will be going back as soon as we can. Also if your wondering whether to rent a car then do it!
