Some restaurants leave such an impression that you never forget them, right? Sarandos is truly one of those places. During our 3-day stay in Anaxos, we ate here every single day, trying nearly everything on the menu, and not once did we regret it.

The food was consistently excellent, the atmosphere welcoming, and the hospitality unforgettable. Because it is really worth the walk from the beach! Lunch. The restaurant is here for more than 50 years. It is positioned amongst a road. No view on the beach, but is is looking very cosy. Another restaurant owner (Tropicana) recommended this restaurant, while Tropicana was opening Tonight (so couldn't serve us). The host of sarandos is very friendly with his deep blue eyes. They have two menus, one small a a dinner menu. Detail: beer glasses are cooled. The pita bread (chicken and pork) were great. Sarandos – enjoying lunch and dinner every day!

During our holiday in Lesbos, we visited Sarandos every day for lunch or dinner, and it was always a hit. The food is delicious, fresh, and carefully prepared, from salads and fish dishes to traditional Greek specialties.

The staff and owners are absolutely fantastic: friendly, welcoming, and always with a smile. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, making every visit a real pleasure.
