What a fabulous place. If you like peace and quiet and relaxation come here. Tia is a very welcoming host and will do anything for you. The rooms are basic but serviced daily and Tia will organise basic supplies for you. Lovely lunchtime food at the bar. Cross the road to a stoney beach (bring beach shoes) which might not be to everyone's taste. Tia has sun loungers and umbrellas free to use on the beach. Also a pool if you prefer. Love it here.

Such a beautiful place! The rooms all have balconies. They are also equipped with a mini stove, pots, pans, coffee maker, dishes and a fridge. They also have a dresser and tables. The staff and owners are super nice and accommodating. The cafe is also great! They have loungers right at the beach and by the pool. Quiet with lots of birds in the morning. Very little traffic on the road (almost none). Definitely recommended coming here.

Aside from the hotel to stay in, it has a pool bar that people can hang out at by the beach. You can either swim or have drinks or even both. I love the place so much because it has free sunbeds when the guests want to swim on the beach, just across the road as seen in the photos. 😍

We moved to Tia’s place during the last 2 days of our stay during our 6 days of stay in Samos. We were very excited to move to a beachfront location however we were disappointed because air conditioning in our room was broken during a heat wave, and the hotel staff did little to resolve the issue. They did not offer to change our room. We were informed that a technician had been called to fix the AC, but I suspect this was not true. Tia mentioned that a technician came and told us to "keep our fingers crossed" that the AC would be repaired. To be honest, "keeping fingers crossed" is the last thing a sleep-deprived guest wants to hear after spending a night awake due to the heat.

Additionally, we couldn't open the balcony doors because we were told that cats might come in. Ironically, when we left the room door open to cool down, a cat did walk inside.

In return of struggling to sleep in an oven for 2 nights, we were offered a 20 euro discount. I’m sorry Tia but you could have done better.

This was an unfortunate experience because the hotel was clean, and the staff seemed nice; however, it lacked professionalism.

Moreover, the electrical socket in the room was partially out of the wall, which posed a danger, especially for our young child. The ceiling fan also felt unstable and seemed like it could fall at any moment, so we couldn’t use it.

There were hornets near the beach showers, which made it risky to shower after swimming.

Aside from these issues, Balos is a nice location with an average beach, but it is not particularly impressive. Highlight of our stay here was night of local music at a nearby...

We had an amazing week at Princess Tia Hotel. As a young couple, it was our first "big" vacation together, so everything was kind of new and a bit scary to us. When we arrived at the hotel we were so warmly welcomed by Tia. We immediately felt at home! As we were checking in, Tia gave us a lot of information about the island. She told us where to eat, what to do and which places to see. As my boyfriend has celiac disease, she even checked what meals he was able to eat. She also made the reservations for us!||||The room had everything we needed and it was cleaned daily by a very nice lady. The airconditioning and the possibility to cook small meals at the kitchenette made the room even better. It was also possible to eat at the bar next to the pool. When we went there, we were - again - welcomed very warmly by the two women who work there. ||||The location of Princess Tia is very calming. Balos is a place where you can completely come to rest because it's not a typical touristic beach. There are some restaurants and small markets nearby, so you basically have everything you need. If you want to visite other towns like Karlovasi, Kokkari, Pythagorion, Vathy or Marathokampos, you do have to keep in mind that you need to drive a bit longer. We visited these towns by quad. It took us 25-60 minutes, but we didn't find it annoying because the view makes it really nice and the wind keeps you from getting overheated. ;) ||||This hotel made our first holiday unforgettable. If you have the possibility to go to Samos, don't hesitate to book a room at Princess Tia!||||Greetings,...

Omdat wij geboekt hadden via “ Eliza was here “ moesten wij dus wel betalen.
