Hotel Philoxenia — Hotel in Paranesti Municipality

This is one of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is good and the service immaculate. It is run by a very friendly and dedicated couple, Savvas and Nitsa Georgiadou. ||The hotel is the starting point for a number of excursions up on the Rhodopi mountains. There lies the largest and most diverse forest in Greece with an amazing variety of trees and wild life. There are many great walks one can follow, some of them leading to the most impressive waterfalls in the Balkans.||Spring is recommended for the abundance of flowers and water in the streams and waterfalls. At last we could plan a weekend (2 nights) in this elegant hotel and to visit all the pittoresque sightseeings of mountain Rodopi.||The hotel is situated on a hill above the small town of Paranesti. The river Nestos is nearby (there is a very good path at the entrance of the village)||The rooms are spacious and comfortable with very good view to the village and mountains. Breakfast is satisfying.||The stuff (for this time) was a very gentle family, who behaved as we were their guests at home.||The room wasn't cleaned for the second day of our stay due to the silly government's protocolls against the spread of coronovirus.||If we can come back in a normal life again, we will come back to continue our vacatins in this...

Α small, cozy, friendly hotel at Paranesti in proximity to the mountains of Rodopi.Vey nice view of the village and mountains. Extremely clean, big room, containing except for the cozy bed a small living room and fireplace. Vey nice bathroom, fully equiped.
