MONALIA Parga Luxury Suites — Hotel in Parga Municipality

We hesitate to write this review since we feel like we uncovered a hidden gem and want to keep it to ourselves: Monalia suites is a new, family-run business tucked away in a cliffside just outside of Parga Town. However, we hope we can do justice to everything Monalia offered us during our stay.

The hosts

The accommodation alone is breathtaking, but the hosts are what make Monalia Suites unforgettable. That Monalia is a family-run business was visible in every aspect, from our check-in to the moment we left.

Eleni and her family are the perfect hosts: present and attentive without being intrusive. When we arrived, Eleni was waiting to welcome us personally, showed us around our villa, and advised we could contact her on her mobile at anytime with questions or if we needed recommendations. Throughout our stay, Eleni and her mum went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable; they recommended local restaurants to us and even ordered us a coffee delivery when we returned home in the afternoon.

The Villa

The quality of the hosting at is matched by the accommodation. We stayed in the two-bedroom villa, where every room is thoughtfully appointed, decorated with modern Japandi minimalism, with natural woods, concrete, terracota and neutral tones. There is everything you need to feel at home, including a large fridge and freezer, a nespresso coffee machine, smart TV, and well-appointed kitchen. The infinity pool is almost as large as some hotels we have previously stayed in, and has a direct view of the sea. Before arriving we did not think it could possibly be as good as it looks in the pictures, but the pictures don’t actually come close.

The atmosphere is one of luxurious tranquility, both inside and out. It honestly felt like we were staying in a spa hotel, from the welcome gift of complimentary wine, milk, water and bread to the Rituals toiletries, Egyptian cotton bedding, bathrobes, towels and slippers.

The location

The location is extremely quiet, which we loved, but only a 5-minute drive from several coffee shops and supermarkets on the main road into Parga Town. The location is also a great base for exploring Sivota, Ammoudia, Igoumenitsa and Ionnina as you are only 10 minutes from the motorway if you want something even quieter. That said, we actually didn’t want to leave our villa since it was so nice, so we often stayed home and spent nights by the pool, cooking on the BBQ.

Overall, we would return to Parga simply for the experience of Monalia Suites. It is without a doubt the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. Thank you, so, so much, Eleni, and your family. We can’t wait to stay with you...

We were in Parga for our honeymoon and stayed at a couple places there during our trip. Monalia was our favorite and we would be very happy to choose them if we come back!

Location was fantastic; close enough to Parga or Lichnos to commute easily but not so close that you’re caught in traffic and noise. Found Greece as a whole to be very strange because it’s beautiful and the people are nice but there is a lot of trash and graffiti everywhere. Don’t let that dissuade you; Monalia was just perfect. The hosts were so helpful and kind with everything we needed. Το Monalia είναι κρυμμένο μέσα σε καταπράσινους ελαιώνες, μακριά από τη φασαρία και την πολυκοσμία. Από τη στιγμή που φτάνεις, νιώθεις ένα μοναδικό αίσθημα γαλήνης. Ήταν η τέλεια επιλογή για πλήρη αποφόρτιση από την καθημερινότητα.

Αρχιτεκτονική που σε ηρεμεί.

Τα πάντα είναι σχεδιασμένα με minimal αισθητική και φυσικά υλικά. Γήινοι τόνοι, πέτρα και ξύλο δίνουν μια αίσθηση κομψής απλότητας, απόλυτα εναρμονισμένης με το τοπίο. Είναι από τα λίγα μέρη όπου κάθε γωνιά του χώρου σε κάνει να νιώθεις άνεση και χαλάρωση.

Η πισίνα με την απίστευτη θέα στο Ιόνιο! Το πιο ξεχωριστό στοιχείο της διαμονής ήταν η ιδιωτική infinity pool. Το να χαλαρώνεις στο νερό, αγναντεύοντας το Ιόνιο πέλαγος, ειδικά την ώρα του ηλιοβασιλέματος, είναι μια εμπειρία που δεν περιγράφεται με λόγια.

Εξυπηρέτηση που σε κάνει να νιώθεις ξεχωριστός. Η ομάδα του Monalia ήταν ευγενική, εξυπηρετική και πάντα διακριτική. Από τη στιγμή που φτάσαμε μέχρι την αναχώρηση, η φιλοξενία τους ήταν εξαιρετική. Είναι εμφανές ότι δίνουν σημασία στην παραμικρή λεπτομέρεια.

Η ιδανική επιλογή για χαλάρωση και απόδραση! Αν θέλετε να ξεφύγετε από την καθημερινότητα και να απολαύσετε στιγμές πραγματικής χαλάρωσης, το Monalia είναι η τέλεια επιλογή. Δεν πρόκειται για ένα απλό κατάλυμα, αλλά για μια εμπειρία που σε ηρεμεί ψυχικά και σωματικά.

Φωτογραφίες που θα θυμάστε για πάντα! Κάθε σημείο του Monalia είναι άκρως φωτογενές. Είτε πρόκειται για τους εξωτερικούς χώρους με τις πέτρινες διαδρομές, είτε για το δωμάτιο και την πισίνα, το μόνο σίγουρο είναι ότι θα θέλετε να απαθανατίσετε κάθε στιγμή.
