Kouros Blanc Paros — Hotel in Paros Municipality

Lots of good things but too many average or below par with broken pool pumps, a hole in the wall behind our bathroom door, a shower that leaked into the bathroom floor (dangerous and slippery) and very little privacy. It looks like it was either quickly built or built on the cheap with an 'unfinished' feel to it often. The rooms with pools are right next to each other so there is no real privacy. So if your neighbours like rap music you'd better like it too! When swimming you look directly into your neighbours room...and this is marketed as a couple retreat so...yeah. In the bigger two bedroom unit everyone looks at your pool, outdoor area and directly into both rooms. The owners spend a lot of time sitting at the bar smoking, with their toddler in a high chair so that sets the tone of the restaurant area and doesn't really fit a place at this end of the price scale. Its been illegal to smoke in bars and restaurants for a long time now but it seems to be ignored a lot in Greece. The menu is extremely limited and the prices are beyond exorbitant for no apparent reason other than the fact that once you are there its a long way to go anywhere else for food. Abbiamo passato 5 giorni in questo Hotel. Premetto che la struttura è nuovissima! L'arredo delle camere è di lusso e curato. Il personale alla reception è instancabile, esuberante, simpatico e gentile. Il soggiorno però è stato tutt'altro che rilassante, il personale delle pulizie pessimo e scortese e aspettavo quasi un "sei su scherzi a parte" l'ultimo giorno visto tutte le disavventure passate. Il giorno del checkin della reception ci chiamano alle 8:10 del mattino, svegliandoci, per sapere a che ora saremmo arrivati. Comunichiamo che arriveremo alle 19. Cominciamo male, pensiamo. Arriviamo alle 20:30 e la camera sembra comunque non essere pronta. La camera molto bella e pulita, a parte della sabbia sul letto.Durante la prima notte abbiamo segnalato un problema: si sentiva un rumore elettrico fastidioso, ed avendo avuto diversi black out, siamo andati alla reception per risolvere. Purtroppo, pur constatando il problema, non è stato possibile fare nulla, se non disattivare la corrente. Quindi niente carica batterie, niente luce, niente aria condizionata. Il giorno seguente il manager ci fa spostare in una grandissima camera da 4, con grande piscina privata! Noi felicissimi e grati per il tentativo di redenzione. La nuova camera però era sporca, piena di capelli, e anche la piscina piena di sabbia. Ma non diciamo nulla per evitare scontri inutili. Terzo giorno, mentre eravamo a bordo piscina, ci chiamano dalla reception chiedendo se possibile liberare la stanza da 4 per fare spazio ad altri ospiti che sembra abbiano avuto altri problemi. Ma ci sposteranno in un'altra stanza, sempre con piscina privata, da 2. Chiediamo mezz'ora per sistemarci e prendere le nostre cose. L'uomo adibito alla pulizia delle piscine, senza avvisare o chiedere, entra ed inizia a pulire la piscina. Gli faccio notare che siamo ancora li, mezzi nudi, e che vorremmo la nostra privacy. In un primo momento mi ignora. Insisto, spiego il disagio e che sarebbe dovuto arrivare dopo aver lasciato la camera. Veniamo spostati nella camera da 2. Consiglio di mettere dei vetri opachi per separare, altrimenti si paga per non avere nessuna privacy. La camera è bella e ben arredata anche se si ha la sensazione di essere in un bunker. Non la consiglio a chi soffre di claustrofobia. La piscina è stata impraticabile perché sporca. Siamo stati lì due notti. Al mattino del penultimo giorno il manager ci avvisa che come da programma ci sposterà nella camera da 2 standard. Ci porta a vederla, orgoglioso della vista, ma ci fa entrare in una camera ancora sporca e disfatta dagli ospiti precedenti. Noi basiti. Alle 11 arrivano le ragazze delle pulizie, a pulire la camera con piscina, dicendo che ce ne saremmo dovuti andare, che loro avevano da fare. Gli rispondo che non dobbiamo lasciare l'hotel ma solo fare un cambio camera. Vanno via sbuffando e ci controllano a vista. Facciamo in fretta i bagagli ed andiamo in reception. Il manager ci porta nella nuova camera, ma era ancora sporca!! Noi abbiamo pagato per una camera, non per dormire! Tornati alle 18, ci accompagna nella stanza, e per scusarsi ci avrebbe offerto un cocktail. Chiediamo un mojito. Ci arriva Negroni e un daiquiri 😅 che rimando indietro. Ci sarebbe molto altro da dire. Mai ho dovuto interagire tanto con il personale

Il lusso ed il relax sono...

A last minute booking for myself and my wife. From the very start we felt so welcomed. We arrived around 11am that’s 4 hours early and as our room wasn’t quite ready we were offered breakfast while we wait. Our bags were dropped to the room by the friendly gentleman that checked us in. Unfortunately it was a windy few days so we didn’t make any use of the pool. The next day we had lunch at the bar. George was the bartender, a very friendly guy. After our lunch that we thoroughly enjoyed the chef came to our table with a large dessert of lime, yoghurt and biscuit. It was very refreshing. On our last night we ordered food to our room as we had been out all day. The beef burger was delicious and my wife enjoyed her salad. Every staff member was very helpful and friendly. For a new hotel they are doing a great job and I wish them every success. Also we had an amazing sunset view from...
