Garlis Apartments — Hotel in Polygyros Municipality

Terrific place for a family vacation. You have several beaches (private) just for you with beach bars if you want that kind of accommodation on the beach and you have completely separated places on the beach just for you. If you do not know what beaches are good just see where the locals go when they want to for a swim. Near Garlis apartments you have 2 places for the night walks. 2 big supermarkets on 2 minutes car drive. Garlis apartments are great. 2 big rooms with all that you need in the kitchen. You have a barbeque and 2 big tables for a large family. The bedroom is great. The hygiene is on the highest level. Every 3 days the towels are changing and every 4 days the sheets are changing. The host (Vasilis) is the best guy ever. He knows English perfectly and he will give you all the information that you need whenever you call him. He makes excellent olive oil too. What they carefully masked from the pictures is the main ROAD! It's the main access road to Sithonia, like a highway. The road separating the property from the beach was really LOUD! Cars travelling at 90-120km/h (or even more) made huge noise, mostly during the day, though. In order to get to the tavernas you have to either drive or walk on the side of the road with NO SIDEWALK. It's not far, but there is really no other way to walk there except hoping not to be crushed by the cars. The hot water in the shower only partially worked. Sometimes the how water simply stopped, but if you like cold showers, no problem, cold water was still available The kitchen has ONLY cold water. Cleaning the dishes with cold water was not fun at all! The room was not (well) cleaned, there was dust on the tables and the shower appeared not to have a good cleaning at least...

The accommodation was perfect, everything was clean and the apartment had all necessities we needed. The yard was beautiful, offering a peaceful space to relax, and the beach was just a minute away, which made our stay even more enjoyable. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the wonderful owner. He greeted us with a thoughtful welcome gift and even offered to drive us to the supermarket, which was so helpful.
