Pension Nikos-Taverna Nikos — Restaurant in Polygyros Municipality

We don’t make a reservation and the staff told us to maybe to come or call back after a half hour. We came back and asked again and the staff (Christiana) fixed a table for us, so we were gratefull. And we have a special thank to Christiana for her quickly, hard working during our dinner. She was very help-full. And the food was very delicious. Very nice taverna with good atmosphere. Tasty food, reasonably priced, and excellent desserts are given free at the end of the meal. If you're not there for lunch, make sure you reserve any of the daily cooked mains you'd like (eg moussaka, pastitsio etc) as they're likely to run out, they're popular! The souvlaki was very tasty too.

I always visit Niko's tavern during my vacations. I love the plane tree, the olive trees, the sea view and the overall calm atmosphere of the place. The home cooked meals like mousakas or moskari kokkinisto (beef based) or papoutsakia (aubergine based) or whatever is a must as they all rock. I particularly enjoy their fish and seafood.
