Hotel Urania — Hotel in Preveza Municipality

This was a stay of just one night before we flew home. ||I had booked via email but when we arrived the lady on reception couldn't find our booking but as she said "No problem". Anastasia as she turned out to be called is a gem. Her English is certainly better than my Greek and although we had a few difficulties in understanding each other she was very patient and accommodating.||The hotel itself has a gentle calmness about it which was very welcoming from the busy Preveza city outside. The hotel was very clean, from reception rooms to bedrooms. this is a classy hotel - not overly up-to-date or trendy but more genteel.||the room was an inside room but had a small courtyard balcony which we weren't expecting. Great air-con which was needed and plenty of storage etc. Comfortable bed.||Breakfast was brought to the table and perfect to start the day. ||All in all a beautiful place to stay and run by the excellent Anastasia - the best hotel host...

Well located hotel in the main street and very near to the port and down town. Room was not considerably comfortable, but bearable and neat. Staff is mainly attentive, however older of two ladies could be a bit kinder i.e. could attend some course on tourism. Breakfast is not bed and, what is most important, enough by quantity, but first time after the 30 years I experienced personally serving that would not be bed if it be served in order of guest's choice. I hope they will introduce a buffet breakfast soon for guests satisfaction. You can always find parking slot near the Hotel...

Central, brilliant location; extremely clean and old style elegance; clean chandelier, cut glass cups; lace underneath of jugs, Ran by firm, efficient and charming Madam Anastasia. ||Harbor and streets full of delicious bars/tavernas only few hundred yards away. Food is simply amazing and very affordable. In the morning, bakery near by is wonderful with many cafes. ||Breakfast in the hotel included home made jam and cake.Like being back to your aunts place.||Clean and comfortable beds, air-conditioning.Had a sound sleep after a week in the sea. ||Brilliant for the...
