SkySea Resort — Hotel in Skiathos Municipality

Our holiday at Sky Sea Resort over Easter exceeded all our expectations! From the very first day we made the reservation, until our arrival at the accommodation, we received information via messages about the directions from the port to the accommodation, about it’s policy, our stay there, travel informations, as we were also given the opportunity to check-in in advance, so as not to waste time upon our arrival. Paolo was always willing to answer our questions, whether it was about a good restaurant to eat at, or about the weather and what clothes we should bring. When we arrived at the port of Skiathos, Luca was waiting for us to drive us to the resort. He was cheerful and smiling all the time, making us feel very welcome, and willing to answer any of our questions. Whenever we needed him during our stay he was always available in record time! The place where the accommodation is located and the view from there are simply magical! The resort is exactly as shown in the photos and even better! The outdoor areas with the children's playground, trampoline and small pool are perfect for families with children, and the fitness equipment outside in nature with a view of the whole island, just perfect for anyone who wants to keep in shape! We had reserved the small Villa Cora, but due to a small and unexpected problem that arose, Luca without thinking at all, granted us Villa Linda without any additional charge. The villa had all the comforts, it had an indoor and an outdoor fully equipped kitchen, where we had barbeque at Easter, with an incredible view of the whole island! The rooms were all equipped with excellent quality mattresses and bedding. It had three crystal clear pools and an area with umbrellas and sunbeds for sunbathing with a view of the verdant mountain! The accommodation is really located in the most beautiful part of the island and offers tranquility and mental upliftment! Luca, thank you for everything, our stay there will be unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were absolutely blown away. We arrived at night time and even then you could tell we had found a real gem.|I could honestly run out of superlatives trying to describe this place. It's the closest I’ve experienced to Caribbean-style luxury in Europe.|We stayed in Villa Linda, which was perfect. 3 pools, 5 rooms, our boys loved it being 9 and 7 they were in and out of those pools constantly. Having the inside rooms meant you also had your own space, and the outside pool rooms gave you space also. Clever design. Immaculately clean, and our villa had the most amazing views looking over Skiathos. |We even hosted a lovely BBQ as the space is huge, the shops are a short drive, and just after a day after a wedding we attended in skiathos we had the BBQ in such an unforgettable setting. ||The management of this resort is exceptional, and the service is top tier. Paolo and Luca are honestly phenomenal, always available on the phone, and real professionals with an obvious passion for what they do. Just good, guys!|A huge thanks also to Andrea, who was also available and helped us. Honestly, the whole team went above and beyond even the cleaning team, which helped with bits we needed here and there. ||The downsides, we couldn't fault this place, yes there are a few steep hills if you’re driving/walking, but that’s the trade-off for total peace - hearing the grasshoppers and crickets, seeing the stars. Luca mentioned postcard views when he picked us up, and it really was.  Town isn't too far, it's 15 minutes by car, so a taxi or hired car helps you. ||It’s a secret gem. If you have found it , just book it, but don't spoil it. ||This resort will pick up some unreal awards for sure, and they deserve every one of them. Pure class from start to finish....

We had a lovely 4day stay at SkySea Resort, we were collected at the airport and dropped off at the ferry port as part of our travels around The Sporades. Spectacular views, fantastic infinity pool that we was not too busy, sometimes just on our own with it from the shared villa - perfect for some photos and games in the pool with the backdrop in sight. Comfortable sun loungers and a kitchen on site with free filtered coffee on hand. Sometimes it’s these little things that make it more special. We had a take out a few times from a nearby service that sorted us with some lovely daytime snacks like club sandwiches and chicken burgers, just a case of phoning up and they would deliver via a motorbike within 30mins. The room was cool with a quiet air conditioning, which is really important if a light sleeper like my partner. Bed was fine, we can be quite fussy with beds. Shower and bathroom was great - really modern. Luca was only a text message away so we knew if we had any problems we could get in touch. We did have to hire a car because it was a little further than we had anticipated, fortunately my partner is a confident driver abroad. You can get a taxi to the main town but expect to pay €25 one way so we made the decision to get a car for about €50 a day. I’m only saying this to factor it in. Saying that on our way home back from another island on the last night we stayed at a place in town and you could hear the nightlife so it’s all about balance.
