We spent wonderful days in Mary's house, two floors with a patio and a magnificent view of the sea of Skopelos. The house is beautiful, the furnishings are really high quality. The atmosphere is magical. Everything tastes of traditional Greece but in a new way. The double bed is perhaps one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The house is efficient and has air conditioning in every room, although we hardly ever had to use it, despite being in August. Palio Klima is a tiny, quiet village with no amenities (restaurants, shops, bars). But this turned out to be its plus, because there are only people and cats (and roosters crowing very early on, be warned) and there is a truly rejuvenating calm. Read moreSuch a beautiful and cozy hideaway, we enjoyed every single minute. The house has 2 floors, with a combined living room and kitchen upstairs, and the bedroom and bathroom downstairs. We found it very functional and thoughtfully equipped. The balcony provides a nice sea view, and the separate small terrace is another nice place to hang out. Mary was a very kind host, always approachable. The Location ist very good. It is very calm and peaceful, but only a View minutes away from the Most beautiful beaches (Kastani - Mamma Mia Beach). Also Glossa is only a View minutes Drive away, where you can find a lot of nice and country-specific Restaurants. To summarize, we enjoyed the stay and sincerely Hope to...
Read moreWe had a wonderful stay at Kalyvaki. The house is spacious, clean and fully equipped. We really appreciated all the small details - from local honey to dog treats. You can see that the house has been decorated with love and practicality, and we found it much more enjoyable than your regular Airbnb. WiFi works very well and we were able to do some remote work effortlessly.
The owner is very kind and available and knows Skopelos inside out and gave us some good tips on restaurants and activities.
The village of Klima is picturesque, quiet and nicely placed to visit the island. It requires a small walk from the main road.
We hope to be back...
