I have travelled to over 60 countries in my life, and I've been to Greece at least 50 times. I can say that until last summer I never had a single inconvenience in Greece, I have many greek friends. This accommodation has a nice view but there is not a single good beach nearby. What is terrible about this accommodation is the owner, who sits on a bar stool and counts the bites of each guest. You feel terrible discomfort while eating. Another thing that surprised me was that I asked where I could buy good honey and he offered to order from the same supplier that brings him honey. Every single of 5 days stay I asked how much that 3 kg bucket cost and every day both he and his wife said they didn't know. They don't know how much they pay for honey? Very strange. On the day of our departure, they attacked me because I protested , they were asking me for 70e for 2x3kg, and I said that everywhere 2x3kg of honey costs 44e. As unpleasant as they were, they said that their neighbours and all the other sellers were frauds and that their honey was of bad quality and made of sugar. I bought honey from them, but a terrible problem arose when we were leaving the facility. Namely, we changed destinations and accommodation 4 times during our trip. A friend who is Greek paid for that accommodation and when we arrived, she could not open her Booking account during check-in. She asked the owner if we have breakfast included because she can't check herself. I understand Greek pretty well, he said "everyone is welcome for breakfast". Both of us and our 2 children understood that the accommodation always includes breakfast. When we were about to leave the villa, he yelled, threatened and demanded 160e. Terrible stress, I regreted that we ever stepped there. Our children barely ate anything for breakfast but we paid him everythinghe required. People should know that he is a scumbag and a fraud. I hope he spent that money on the worst of his life. The most disgusting man I have ever met in my life. Petty crook. I don't care what this aggressive, rude person will reply to me. He is not even worth of...

Antonio's and his wife are lovely welcoming people that made us at home as soon as we arrived,we were offered a beer before we checked in and decided to share a Greek salad before we went to our room, the salad was lovely and fresh. So,lunch finished and up to our room, which was a bedroom kitchenette in the first room which had french doors, then through to the main bedroom with twin aspect French doors,we expected a balcony but were blown away when we walked out onto a large veranda overlooking Glossa port, then realised it was a wrap around veranda!!! The views were stunning!!! We could have sat out there all day but called down to the port for a drink before returning and freshening up with a shower before our meal on the restaurant veranda which also overlooked the port, the sunset was directly infront of us and was beautiful to say the least. Anyhow, the starter arrived, zucchini balls which we shared, lovely, light and crispy on the outside,we both had the octopus stifado for mains which to this day I can't stop thinking about, definitely the best meal of our holiday by far,the octopus was so soft and perfectly cooked and washed down with Antonios' own wine,it was lovely. After our dessert we were given a little bottle of complimentary raki which Antonios made himself,I love the stuff!!! There's so much more I could say but don't want to bore everybody, needless to say I cannot wait to go back next year, the people were so welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for...
Read moreThe whole thing from start to finish, was a mistake. We shouldn't have booked this hotel in the first place.||||First, it isn't as close to town as er thought, based on the description. You have to walk approx 1 mile up a steep hill to get to it from the port.||||Second, the owner's attitude was shocking to say the least. When we arrived, he insisted on seeing and photocopying our passports. Had no problem showing our passports, but I didn't wish to have them photocopied. I've been travelling all over the globe for years, never had such a peculiar request before. When I pointed that out to him, he said that's what the law says - when I asked evidende of such law, he was unable to produce any. He then claimed he is the president of some kind of local hotel owners club, which means nothing. ||||I was trying to understand the reasoning for such behaviour. His response was that if we were criminals, then Police would like to know our details! What a nice way to welcome your guests, by implying they may be criminals!||||I explained storing a paper copy of my passport in his back office, wasn't a very secure way of handling personal data and I wasn't comfortable with it, but he wasn't listening.||||In the end he gave us a refund and we walked off.||||Thankfully, we found a place in the main Skopelos Town, which we ended up enjoying thoroughly, as Skopelos Town seemed to be a lot more civilised. We never returned to Glossa, nor we are planning to do...
