Kala Nera Panorama — Hotel in South Pilio Municipality

If you are looking for a hotel where your 10 year old something kids can find friends to play in the pool this is it. The hotel has 16 stacked rooms in two buildings. The place is quite new and modern with top equipment in the rooms and when shut very quiet. The allure however is the pool and the view which means the doors must be open and the curtains. If you are on the ground floor near the pool assume everyone can see you and therefore NO privacy. We no longer have young children so having 2 or 3 year old kids yelling mama and baba are not our ideal vacation, nor having 10 year old boys in the pool. I love kids, just now when I am on vacation and most of the parents did little to respect the privacy of others. Twice people walked into our room by mistake as they all look alike. DO NOT GO IN AUGUST. The owner Stephanos was very nice and we asked to be moved as soon as we got there and rather than move us to a more remote room he did not yet I saw others coming later with young noisy kids that would have been better suited. There is no breakfast so plan on spending money for whatever you prefer which means about 10 EU more per person once you add in coffee. They have pots so you can make it in the room, but that is not a vacation. The town is a short drive and you cannot walk safely to Kala Nera at night. The local beach has stones and was very quiet but not the best beach in Greece by far and Kala Nera is a zoo......Recommendation is go in the off season when kids in school and enjoy the view and...

Highly recommended for being so close to the main road and yet so quiet, very clean and well maintained. The view from most of the rooms is fantastic, the rooms are very comfortable and well equipped and the pool very nice and clean. The owners are friendly and their communication skills great. The village nearby has anything you might need like restaurant, bar and supermarket. The beach that you have at walking distance is nice, although you can find better ones if you use the car. We stayed just for one night but we got a lot more than that. This family run hotel offers authentic Greek hospitality along with all the amenities for an excellent stay. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The outdoor facilities are adequate to relax and enjoy the view of Kala Nera bay by the pool. Location is fantastic, you can find whatever you want in a short distance. Last, kudos to the owners, they are doing a fantastic work in every aspect! I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler...
