These are a set of very smart new apartments, over looking the sea and pool. The smartest apartment I think we have ever stayed in. Very smart pool area with thick luxury sunbeds, combined with dappled shade provided by rope work umbrellas and shades. The infinity pool over looks the sea and has children area. The pool colour is strange, it is blue and green and patchy, this colour makes the pool look like a pool that is growing algae, but it is clean, just the wrong colour for me. The beach can be reached by a short path and steps. The beach is small and is made up of pebbles, some 50m away towards the village the beach becomes sandy. Apartments come with balcony, table and chairs, with drying rack. Rooms have a small kitchenette, with microwave oven, two ring stove, fridge freezer, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, kettle, sandwich toaster and glasses. I couldn’t get the electric two ring to work, nor could the staff, eventually I managed to figure out that you had to press the lock button for a minimum of 5 seconds, instructions would be useful. Missing from the kitchenette were cooking utensils, you could manage with the cutlery, but there wasn’t even a kitchen knife, nor a cutting board. Bathrooms are very well equipped, overhead and handheld shower, basin with heated mirror and WC. Plenty of places to put toiletries and towels. Main room, ours had twin bed and single bed. Plenty of sockets. Very good wifi. TV with various free channels two coffee tables plenty of space for suitcases. Wardrobe with hooks and drawers, but only six hangers. Rooms had dressing gowns and slippers a very nice touch. Rooms even had irons and small ironing board. Air conditioning with remote. Rooms have a very small and insecure safe, they are not big enough to take an iPad and they are not fixed to the room in any way. The combinations are not user changeable, so very insecure. The apartments have a restaurant, but this was not open during our visit, which was a shame, although the bar was. We visited in early May. There is a well equipped gym. Staff are very helpful. There is a small car park and the location of the apartments is well signposted, which is just as well as Google Maps route doesn’t work! There are a number of tavernas and mini markets within walking distance, but ideally a car is needed, if any exploration is envisioned. The ferry departs from the village regularly to the nearby island of Evie. There are a few very, very minor things that they need to address, safes, chopping board, kitchen knife and in my opinion the colour of the pool. Summary these are very smart apartments, where the owners and managers have gone to a huge amount of attention to detail. Overall very highly rated, best apartments I have...
Read moreI didn’t spend the night at the hotel so I don’t know how the rooms are, but I went to this place twice. The first to use the restaurant and the second time the cafe. The restaurant was a great experience with new flavours and the blonde girl that served us was great! The second time was exactly the opposite experience. A brunette guy with glasses served us and he didn’t let us sit where we wanted but he allowed other people to sit and drink coffee there because he said that their company was already there. It didn’t matter that he ordered coffee after us. I literally told him that I will stay for half an hour and we will go but he said that at 19:00 that area turns into a restaurant regardless that a company was chilling there and one of the guys literally just arrived. He just tried to justify his decision with cheap excuses but I got upset and I left the place without even drinking coffee. He literally ruined our mood with his double standard and discriminatory behaviour. No apologies or anything from the waiter. You just need one awful experience to ruin the initial good experience that we had for that place and now I don’t think that I will go back there again or...
Read moreAn absolutely amazing hotel with stunning views, beautifully designed - you can see how much care and attention was put into every single detail, everything in the hotel feels new and high quality. The service is great, staff really friendly and helpful (massages were also absolutely fantastic), the food and cocktails very tasty, rooms gorgeous with large balcony/terrace. We loved the infinity pool and views. Overall we had a lovely holiday and would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone. It was also great value for money.
The only problem was the wifi which was terrible and we had to use mobile data the whole holiday.
Smoking seems to be extremely common in Greece, but it would have been nice to not have other guests incosiderately smoking right in our faces, so maybe the hotel could consider having designated areas for smokers vs non smokers. At least by the pool/sun beds, it would be nice to not have to put up with someone else’s health-damaging addiction that I have no interest partaking in. I don’t want to be breathing in people’s cigarette smoke...
