Mountain House Kastro — Hotel in Thassos Municipality

Amazing wonderful remote location high in the mountains. We visited in late June and the temperature was amazing, much cooler than the lowlands. The road is wonderful but requires around 15-20 minutes of travel. It is worth it because of the amazing fresh air and quiet sleep.

The hosts were kind, but the place was pretty awful. The sheets were not clean, and the toilet and shower were a mess. We had some critters in the attic, above the bed from living room, who started squiking all the two nights we were staying there. The village Kastro was great, nice view and interesting path...

Calm and beautiful location with amazing view of the Aegean sea. Spotlessly clean house with all the facilities you will need. Foteini and Stamatis are great hosts and tend to all your needs. Thank you for making our holidays...
