From the moment I arrived at the Siatistino Archontariki, I felt like I was home. This family owned and operated hotel was great. I was given a home-made hot meal by owner Poupee, mere moments after I arrived and Tassos, the owner, helped me track down a relative in the town within minutes of my arrival. (I was there to do some research for a biographical book I'm writing.) Young adult son George was extremely kind and helpful and spoke very good English. I would highly recommend this hotel to other visitors who like a personal, family touch while traveling in areas of the country that are non-touristy. This hotel is a block or so off the main street so it's a little tricky to find at first but once you know where it is, it's easy to...

Read moreSiatistino Arxontariki is a small but nice hotel with a privileged location in the town of Siatista - rooms offer spectacular view over lower parts of town with the church. The hosting family are very nice people, easy to talk to. Every time you go out or in the hotel they offer you a coffee or a snack. We've been there on Easter and we were invited to sit with their whole family - it was really festive. Rooms are clean and cozy, with small tv and air conditioning. Some rooms have great view to the town, but if your room doesn't - just go out on the common balcony and you can...
