Philoxenia Earia — Hotel in Volvi Municipality

We stayed for 1 night and started to look for new accommodation. It is far from clean, bathroom and kitchenette is in horrible state, very dirty. I won't dare to say what we found under the beds in the room. All the photos we have seen from this place do not represent the true picture at all. It is located close to the beach, but this village is super small and basically dead. The only logical explanation to this contrast in experiences seems to be that they have newer rooms and older ones maybe...so depends I guess how you booked this place... We arrived with our 9 month old daughter, barely stayed for one night and ran. Also, the room where we were, on balcony, you could always smell some kind of super strong gasoline smell, super weird. Nice place. Friendly Lady staff. However my side of the double bed had the wire springs coming through and it took some time to find the right place to sleep on.

Quests around the pool kept chatting until 2 or 3am and could be heard at our room which was around the pool on the ground floor.

Other than a kettle, no coffee or tea to make a drink. Only one pillow per quest with no extras in the room. Also one shower gel, one shampoo and one body cream for 4 people. A bit minimalistic.
