Vila Nick Rooms — Hotel in Volvi Municipality

We had quite a disappointing experience at this accommodation. First of all, we had to wait for about an hour at the reception with a two-year-old child before anyone even showed up to check us in. On top of that, there was a mistake with the booking — the same rooms had been double-booked. In the end, we were asked to move to another apartment, which we agreed to, but it was very clear that guests who booked through Booking.com were given priority.

The room itself was fine, the terrace was great, and the kitchen had everything we needed. However, since there was a Nespresso coffee machine, we expected capsules to be provided. In the first apartment they were, but after we were moved, there were none. We asked if we should buy them ourselves and were told they would be brought to us, but nobody ever delivered them.

What was most disappointing is the housekeeping. In eight nights, the bed linen was never changed, not even once. Towels were only replaced on the sixth day, and only after I called to complain. Rolls of toilet paper as well, we reacived just 2 rolls initially, and they give us 2 more rolls when the towels were delivered (so on the sixth day). The owner or manager is never around, and it’s almost impossible to reach anyone from the staff.

The accommodation itself looks nice and is perfectly decent, but for the amount of money we paid, we honestly expected much more, especially from the staff and the villa owner. We are very disappointed and cannot recommend this place. The only real advantage is its close proximity...

This place is truly excellent! It’s not too big, so it never feels crowded, and the location is perfect – just steps away from the beach, the town center, and all necessary amenities.

The pool is modest in size (depth from 1 m to 1.6 m), regularly cleaned, and perfect for refreshment and relaxation. The courtyard is beautifully landscaped and well-maintained, with palm trees, grass, and flowers creating a little oasis.

The rooms are spacious, spotless, with new and comfortable beds. The balcony is large and offers a beautiful sea view. Guests have access to a TV with local channels, air conditioning, and a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary appliances and utensils. The Wi-Fi works perfectly throughout the property, and parking is secure and safe.

However, the real highlight is the owners. The host, Dimitris, is a fantastic person – always ready to help, provide anything you need, and surprise you with thoughtful gifts. His warmth and kindness make you feel truly at home, making everything else seem less important.
