Leutérēs — Restaurant in Volvi Municipality

Overrated restaurant, in my opinion. They brought the bottle of water that was so dirty on the bottom that it left black marks on the tablecloth in several places. We ordered shrimps and we were said that if we wanted fresh shrimps, we needed to pay an extra 1 euro. We agreed, although it sounded really weird for the seafood restaurant (later we were charged 2 EUR, which is a very small sum, too, it's not about the prices, it's about impression). Grilled octopus was tasteless and they brought it 10 min before the second person's main dish arrived. The 3rd of us received her main dish even later. The waiter simply ignored our requests both times. They didn't serve a plate for the mussles shells or any wet tissue to clean the hands afterwards, and we asked for a plate ; we had to ask twice. They brought it when the mussels were finished. Cretan salade was bland and had a spoiled cheese on it. Baked eggplant - again tasteless, with a small drip of olive oil on the side. We were attacked by mosquitos but the waiter never came with an answer if they could probably help us with this. They include tips in the bill, so no stimuli for waiters to care for the guests....

If there would be option to give less than 1 star for service, I would give it. We ordered grilled sea bream, and while ordering asked the waiter if it comes with vegetables or they should be ordered separately. He informed us that it comes with grilled vegetables. Finally we got fish with pickled cucumbers and fresh tomato!!! Another waiter informed us that they are in hurry (?!), as it was weekend and they cannot provide us side dish. After being persistent we got 2 slices of grilled tomatoes , some onion (all unproperly prepared) and some fries... As a plus, we had to fight with two other waiters not to take away this unhappy side dish (seems there is 10 of them all running around and not paying any attention). Also, the salad we ordered was missing half of the ingredients ( sun dried tomatoes , pomegranate , honey,..). Finally after we expressed our dissatisfaction at the end, nobody seemed to do anything (for the salad we were told that we are exaggerating since we were already unsatisfied with...

Our visit was a complete disappointment! We decided to have dinner as a group of four at 7:30 PM. The restaurant was almost empty, with more than half of the tables not marked as “Reserved,” yet the hostess greeted us extremely rudely and practically kicked us out.

Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable for a place that claims to offer hospitality and comfort. Instead of basic courtesy and a willingness to help, we were met with arrogance and disregard. It felt as if customers are not welcome there at all, and our presence was more of a nuisance than anything else.

A brutal embarrassment on their part – an empty restaurant, but no place for guests. One thing is certain: we will never return, and I would not recommend anyone waste their time or nerves with...
