El Tambor Oasis, Antigua Guatemala — Hotel in Sacatepéquez

Our ATV tour took us to this place, so we could try local food. We went for different Caldos and they were fantastic. Somebody from the group asked, if they could prepare a Caldo without meat and they kindly offered to do it. So if you're a vegetarian, don't hesitate because of the menu. Also, they were out of rice, probably because the restaurant officially was already closed. They asked us, if they could serve it with bread instead, which also was delicious. Also here, you can just switch if you like. The service is so good, they're so kind and the view from up there...

If you are in Antigua and you're looking for a nice/romantic place to watch the sunset from AND have amazing lokal food for a good price don't hesitate.... Take an Uber and visit this awesome place. I had a traditional soup with chicken and veggies with an avocado topping - best food so far in Guatemala.

View is fantastic, guacamole was fresh. Service was terrible. Put drink orders in and waited over 15 minutes for the drinks to be made because bartenders were busy chatting amongst themselves. Only about 12 chips for the nachos and they were room temperature. Also some were soggy because for some reason they’re placed in the guacamole/beans/pico.
