Hotel Molina — Hotel in La Ceiba

I stayed at this hotel due to a recommendation of a work colleague and I became so dissappointed. Despite the good service provided by the employees, the room had been cleaned with some sticky and oily chemical that made the impression that the floor was quite odd and you wouln't dare to walk in bare feet. ||The electric shower never worked. There was an A/C unit and cable TV, however, the room was kind of long and the TV (located at the other end of the room) was to small according with the size of the room. ||At night you could clearly hear people walking and chatting in the hall. The towels seemed to have been veeeeery used, almost torn apart.||In the morning I had an acceptable breakfast (included in the rate), however, when I checked out I saw that the pool (the only amenity in this resort) was very dirty, I thanked God I didn't intend to dive into that water the night before.||I consider the name "Resort" to be a high standard...

This hotel is a disaster and a huge disappointment. Our group had 4 rooms. 3 of them had NO water in the shower or the toilet. One of the showers had live wires hanging under the shower head. My room was the only one with running water and it wasn’t hot. The air conditioning did not work so it was stuffy and damp. The rooms and hallways were dingy. The sheets were grimy. The whole place was run down, in very poor repair, and flat out nasty. This place needs a massive overhaul. Yuk. Frankly, it looked like a place that rented rooms by the hour. Breakfast was included but we had an early flight so didn’t try it. It was so dirty that it was best not to eat there anyway. The hallways were dingy and noisy. There was a huge pool but we didn’t go in so can’t comment. We requested a discount because there was no water in 3 of the rooms and they denied it. Do yourself a huge favour and...

Funcional. Cuando llegamos la habitación no tenía el control remoto del televisor y tampoco el control del AC, tuvimos que bajar a recepción a solicitarlos. El sanitario estaba sucio y no funciona, hay que poner el basurero a llenar de agua en la ducha para poder usarlo (supongo que no funciona la bomba en general hasta el 3 piso). La ventana del baño es pequeña no permite una rápida circulación del aire, por lo que si se toma una ducha caliente hay que esperar a que el vapor se salga. El aire acondicionado ya es un poco viejito, se tardó 45 minutos en poder empezar a sentirse fresca la habitación. Si les agredecemos que a pesar de llegar a las 10 pm el personal fue muy amable al recibirnos y estuvieron dando vueltas en todas las habitaciones para poder atendernos 👍🏼. Sugerencia: tener un oasis en cada piso, y cuando entreguen una habitación ahi mismo entreguen ambos controles. Pueden solicitar a los huéspedes al salir que entreguen la llave y ambos Controles.
