Just an amazing staff! Usually you are asked to fill in forms and everything when checking in - in our case the owner of the property noticed us being a bit weary after the long drive to the location and offered refreshing drinks for us to start with! It certainly melted your hearts. The property is an old wine house from the 1800's. It was such a lovely and romantic place to stay during our first anniversary. This beautiful building is perfect for a small hotel. We were welcomed by the owner and he showed us the various rooms and courtyard which were all lovely. Our bedroom was a little smaller than I would have liked but it was comfortable in with modern Ikea bed and furniture. We didn't have the breakfast as we always had other plans but it always seemed popular with other guests. I wished we could have stayed a couple of extra nights as BalatonFured and the surrounding area is very nice. I would definitely go back...

What an amazing place. Highly recommend! This town in general is inspiring and historical. The hotel specifically is just breathtaking; from the details of the furniture to the crispy fresh croissant in breakfast, or Hugo the cute dog that is resting peacefully in the yard.
