Hotel Bobbio Kft. — Hotel in Budapest

I came here for the first time as my favourite hotel, Hotel Molnar, seems to have closed down. Hotel Bobbio is a nice smallish hotel in the Buda hills, just down the road from the Zugliget chairlift and near Normafa station on the children's railway. The bus 155 is very frequent and runs from very early morning until ~midnight. It stops at the end of the road (Bela Kiraly ut stop on the way up - cross the road, go left up the hill and it's on your left; Csillagvolgy ut stop on the way down, at the bottom of the hill) and takes you to Szell Kallman ter in 15 mins from where you can get the bus 5/metro M2 into the touristy bit of town. ||||Check-in was straightforward, I booked through a major booking site and they just needed me to fill a small form in and show my passport - no issues. The receptionists all (they worked in shifts) spoke perfect English. They were nice to talk to, especially Gabor.||||My room was on the first floor and was quite large with a balcony with a very nice view. The bathroom had a power shower, my room had a TV with several channels, and WiFi signal for the hotel's free WiFi.||||A buffet breakfast was served downstairs in the breakfast room which was decorated nicely for Christmas, and had a selection of hams/brioche/cereals/bread/lots and lots of types of tea/yoghurts/tomato and cucumber. Additionally the receptionist comes when you're sat down and offers to cook eggs for you (boiled/fried/scrambled) - I had scrambled both times and it's actually more like a plain omelette with powdered She also offers fresh coffee. paprika on top. On my last day, 24th December, I was the last at the hotel (they close over the Christmas holidays) and they still put out the whole buffet breakfast just for me!||||There is apparently an extension to the breakfast room with a TV with over 90 channels, according to their guest booklet in the room - I forgot about it until now so too late for me to try it out, but I'm sure it's there! There's also a sauna.||||The hotel is exactly 15 mins from Szell Kalman ter by bus 155, maybe about 25-30 from Ferenciek tere and Vaci street touristy areas, so you're not exactly in the...

The place is surrounded by trees on a lush green hill. It's cool even when the city is in a heat wave. The garden terrace is lovely in the mornings for breakfast and relaxing to chill there the rest of the day. The balcony rooms give view to the trees (so close you could almost touch it's leaves!) and the nearby Fair Rock and hills. The staff are extremely friendly. The resident cat provides a spot of interest for animal lovers.

The chairlift is walking distance. Hiking trails also start closeby. The trails are all marked and you can get yourself a paper map of Buda Hills or use the online app Mapy.cz to get the marked trails. Fairy Rock is a highlight to hike to. You can hike upwards to the popular city look-out point Normafa as well, or take a 7-min taxi ride or walk a few minutes to the bus and take...

Место у отельчика природно живописное, но глуховатое.. Ближайшее кафе-ресторан в 5 км. Магазин в 2 км. Под горку туда приемлемо а вот оттуда не..)||В отеле ресторана нет. Транспорт общественный, ходит регулярно, автобус 155, по расписанию, но 5-7-10 км до ближайшей достопримечательности и центра и обратно,- это время, вычеркнутое из туржизни!)!||Общая терраса отеля скрывает вид на город за деревьями. ||Забронированный и подтвержденный (!) номер с видом на горы оказался с другим видом.. Как впрочем и большая двуспальная кровать оказалась двумя сдвинутыми. Поменять номер не удалось. Катастрофа, когда пытаясь обнять родное проваливаешься в щель.. Других кроватей просто нет в этом отеле. Как нет трансфера до аэропорта. Такси правда вызвали. uber наверное..) А ехать 23 км. Таксист воспринимается как грабитель!)||Номерок тесный. Вода в душе или очень горячая или очень холодная. При каждом неудобном повороте в тесной кабинке душа, даже не полный человек невольно задевает рычаг регулятора и сбивает настройки потока! Упаси Господи сожителю смыть в универсальном тазу, пока вы в душе. Возможны ожоги 3 степени. Рассекатель из крана изъят и лежит рядом на раковине, доказывая что он есть, но не очень нужен)) Попытка инсталлировать провалилась. Only гель и мыло комплектует сервис. И только на первые сутки из трех оплаченных. Хорошо бумаги хватило. Полотенца каждый день НЕ меняют, о чем мне было сообщено на исходе вторых суток проживания недвусмысленно, определенно и твердо и с таким недоумением и жаром, будто я попросил ананасов в шампанском по утрам!) ||На стене, где крохотный TV, прямо перед взором лежащих,- положен (?) ламинат. В состоянии алкогольной деструкции можно перепутать с полом. ) Не думаю, что это аттракцион от дизайнера. Скорее некий позднейший предохранитель стены от потных лап гостящих.. ||Мебель приемлема. Персонал как бы насильно приветлив и англоговорящ. Wifi есть и тупит в рамках приличий. Завтрак уныло однообразен, кофе платный. После воскресных сосисок и манной каши меню понедельника огорчило полным отсутствием чего либо горячего. Кроме кипятка)) ||Считаю, что цена из за удаленности отеля и фальсификации в нем сервиса,- завышена. ||Из хорошего,- большая уютная подушка. И тишина. ||И плесень на этот черствый бутерброд : в связи с отъездом в 4 утра устно, а затем и официально через сайт booking письменно отменил ранее заказанный завтрак, но сумму за этот завтрак с меня все же списали. Ну может...
