Saliris Resort - Spa Conference Hotel — Hotel in Egri járás

I don’t know how this hotel have 4 stars, i dont know from where to beggin..|1. After 21:30 u cant drink a coffee after the dinner, everything is close,the machine that they use like the ones from bus station they closed also.|2. They have 3 elevators, only 1 was working!(we was for this business meting more then 600 persons) also old and strange noise with this elevator, better take the stairs.|3. The TV in the room has only Hungarian- audio channels and they had disabled the Internet on it. |4. The most WORST was the room. I will put pictures with what we found in our room. Never in my life i seen such a DIRTY and DISGUSTING room. Everywhere was dust, like a lot of dust(im allergic to dust), the bed was full of human body hair(chest hair i hope from men) and hair from womens(we had red hair,black and blonde) and the most ugly and disgusting 🤢 was the SPERM on the picture above the bed..oh yes, and some leftovers from some snacks under the bed!|5. I tried to speak politely with the receptionist on the phone after i saw all this, he told me without telling that they are sorry or try to find a solution for this very big problem, he told me that is to late and they dont have how to help, i need to wait until 7 in the morning for the women to come to make clean in the room.|I tried again after trying to sleep, of course I couldn’t, at 3 in the night i made a visit to the reception with the photo and videos from the room and he said something very unprofessional for a 4 stars hotel: - How i know that is true and the hair was there before u come and is not from you? I was SHOCKED 😳, i said ok, and the dust I brought it from my house and put it in the room or what?! |5. In the morning we decided to leave the group(we was in business meting, presentation agriculture) and we went to make the check out, was at the reception 2 different receptionist, i said that is not acceptable for a hotel that is pretending to be 4 🌟 to have such dirty and disgusting room and behaviour with the clients totally unacceptable. In change of sorry, or something to clean their image of the hotel, the receptionist the name was something like Elisabetha Kate or Kata was laughing at us and speaking in Hungarian with her colleague!! |The Worst Hotel we’ve been in our life!!! Edit: To their credit the a/c was repaired in a day. The spa is still lovely, but the hotel needs a bit of polish. Some of the wallpaper is coming up, I'm sure because of the humidity from the water. Some areas around the hotel aren't well kept, the plants has overgrown in parts. However the food was much improved from last time and we had a lovely time overall. Just make sure the a/c works, the rooms are intolerable with the heat from the water.

When it first opened the hotel was very nice. However as others have mentioned it has not been maintained. I have stayed here 5 times over the years but this past time is unacceptable for a 4 star hotel.

In the middle of June the AC stopped working. It appears that this happened earlier in the day and I didn't notice until I returned from the baths at 10pm and went to sleep.

I awoke around midnight in a puddle of my own sweat. I figured this is a honest mistake and I went to reception to get a new room with a working air conditioner. Turns out the entire hotel has no air conditioning.

Annoyed, I ask when the repair men where expected. They said that in the morning, sometime.

I don't feel like it's unreasonable to assume that a 4 star conference hotel would have a 24 hour repair man on call. I guess not.

They also couldn't offer other sheets for my bed because housekeeping had left for the night.

So I went for a short walk outside and then decided to sit in the reception on the couches since it seems to be slightly cooler here. However even just sitting on this couch now typing this review I can feel beads of sweat rolling down my sides.

I attempted calling other hotels but since I managed to sleep in the heat until around midnight they are all closed.

I hope that I can edit this review tomorrow and rave about how quickly the air conditioner is repaired but at this point I'm not holding my breath.
