Good location, good value for money, one of the hottest thermal water in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful.||However, the housekeeping didn't do much during our 3 nights stay. They haven't changed our towels for 3 days, they haven't mopped the floor not even once for 3 days. The hot water wire is not long enough to plug in the connector and you need to use a pan turned upside down to put it on the top to be able to plug in. That's crazy! :) I am dairy free and to be honest if I wouldn't have brought almond milk with myself, I couldn't eat much for breakfast. The choice of food for breakfast is definitely not a 4 star, I would say poor. They only have 1 type of egg (scrambled). Why they can't do some boiled eggs or frid eggs if they are able to put 10 types of different cheese on the buffet?! During dinner, for 3 nights they were unable to serve any types of vegetables...no boiled vegetables or anything that would be suitable for dairy free or vegan options... this is disappointing.||Furthermore, in the spa, there wasn't enough sunbeds and not enough space for the capacity of the rooms and people stayed in the hotel. There are lots of areas of improvements. ||The overall experience was ok, but this hotel is not according to standards, that's for sure, especially because I was in hospitality for 10 years and I have been to...
Read moreI have spent two relaxing days with my parents at the Thermal Park. The resort is located in a beautiful setting in the valley of the healing waters. The hot water coming from the depths of the Earth has proven beneficial effects for musculosceletal problems, like osteoarthritis and tge like. The place is surrounded by woods providing beauty and clean air. Friendly staff, clean premisses. This family friendly resort has a hot pool to help you relax your muscles and a colder pool for swimming or just to cool down if you like. You can choose from infra red-, steam or Finnish saunas. A variety of massage therapies are also available. The food they serve is Hungarian home style cooking and it is excellent. We had buffet style breakfasts and dinners here. I rented a bike and visited both neighbouring villages: Demjén and Egerszalók. In Egerszalók I took a tour of the Cave Dwellings. Eger is only 5 kilometers from this resort. Eger is a historical city with a fort and an old city worthy to be explored on a day trip. My parents have been here three times already and they plan to...
Read moreIt's ok, if you don't have high expectations. Definitely not a 4* experience. |Had no baby cot available. Had to bring our own travel cot. |Housekeeping is poor, Ants all over the apartment house. Also they won't refresh your room. Bathroom toiletries are minimal and towels not enough for a "wellness/spa" hotel.|Generally the hotel felt unmanaged. No salt on the tables in the restaurant, only rice kept in the shakers. Checked 5 tables... won't take long to fill them up with salt.|Pool areas had 4-5 different chairs/seat throw out. No taste at all.|Dressing gowns were overused, probably thrown out from the owners other (posher) hotel.||Positive:|Reception girls were lovely and helpful. |There is A/C in the room.|Food was also alright (not 4* service though).||Had a few nice days, spent with my family. Overall good value for money (especially when the Forint...
