One of the best hotels. I was with my family in apartment (half board). Food was excellent and various (for everyone). Cook sometimes get out from kitchen and arrange food on buffet, then you have extraordinary served food. Absolutely perfect. They have Sap center, with outdoor and indoor swimming pool, even have mini pool for children and lot of toys, my daughter enjoyed. But for sure outdoor pool is something special because you have wonderful surroundings and view on forest. You can enjoy in jacuzzi beside pools. That not everything they have in Spa center. Staff was very hospitable, but only bad thing is that they don't know English, the most of them. I think the waiter must know English on basic level at least, because they represent hotel, food, drinks and another things about hotel, they are in front of hotel beside receptionist. Receptionist was very good and they know English, very helpful all of them. The best thing for me is landscape around hotel and location. Hotel located in forest, when stuff placed like that you got quite, extraordinary view from large balcony and peace. In front of hotel they have playground for children and track for walk around the hotel. Apartment was clean, neat and modern, also large bathroom. In apartment you got coffee machine for self made coffee and tea, like mini fridge with drinks. Beds was very comfortable. My English is not perfect and maybe I have some mistakes but I want more people see this recension. For me,...
Read moreNot the lifestyle I’d expected for €203 per night! Granted, this was the last available room for the dates booked, the service level is definitely not superior (same rate at a Marriot in the capital the night previous!)
There was no complimentary coffee / tea in the room, no kettle either. Glasses chipped. There was a gap between the window frame and wall that created a draft. There was no hot water at all, and after calling reception to have it fixed, you could call the temperature lukewarm at best. No body lotion, no conditioner, no vanity kit available. Attached is a photo of the shower floor, covered in mold and god knows what else.
Dinner gave me a bad stomach. You have to buy water separately as there is no such given with your food. Breakfast was okay-ish, although I missed fresh fruit and nuts, and healthy bread options (wellness hotel, hello??)
Water world should rather be called water village, it is tiny and congested, with no real swimming pool for a good swim. No oils/ herbs available for the saunas.
One last surprise at checkout that we were charged with the previous guests’ consumption; luckily I was already counting in my head and noticed the error straight away. This was immediately rectified, however I heard no apology from the staff.
Will definitely not...
Read moreWe have already stayed in standard room and junior suite in this hotel. We visited this 5 times altogether. ||Everytime the hotel was clean, the staff was helpful. ||I recommend to ask for a room with view of Kékes, because it's beautiful, but if you get a room with park view it's also very nice. ||The breakfast and the dinner offer wide range of food and every day there is something special, I mean wild food, typicall autumn food. I guess everybody must find something to eat. ||We also tried to bob game, it was very pleasent and we had fun. But it's important to book a time in advance because it's very busy. ||Wellness part of the hotel is also very busy during the day. Usually we visited it between 7-9 pm because it's the silent hours, only adult time. This time the pools are quite and you can swim free. ||The hotel has a forest garden, it's very good to have a walk there, sometimes the wild animals visit the hotel garden. ||The crew clean the rooms daily. It's not a big cleaning, but they make the bed and...
