The host forced me to cancel my booking on booking.com a month before the scheduled date by repeatedly rejecting my card for an unreasonable reason.

He claimed that I made too many changes to the reservation, which seemed "unrealistic" to him. However, I booked the room four months in advance. During this period, my original card used for the guarantee payment was hacked, so I had to issue a new one. I made changes to the card on the booking site a couple of times to ensure a smooth transaction. I only revised the name once to match my local language and did not make the ten changes he mentioned.

When I refused to cancel, he resorted to a trick by declaring my card invalid. I then made a payment to another hotel immediately afterward with no issues at all.

If you need to cancel, please do so on your end. It’s unprofessional to use dishonest tactics.

Be cautious if you book this hotel. You might have to deal with the most unprofessional host.

All I did was change the name for Visa and update the payment method to ensure smooth transactions. I also canceled the booking once in August since my plans were not finalized at that time. Everything I did was within the rights that booking.com allows me to do without needing your permission.
