Paprika Tranzit Hotel — Hotel in Mosonmagyaróvári járás

We like this hotel every year we stop there in our journey never had to reserve in advance but this year we didn't find any room available at the first stop ok, after 2 weeks we came back in our way we try to call and reserve via internet and didn't work, we give there after 14h of driving super tiered a lot of people was waiting 2off them paying and some more waiting, I made a question to the lady if they have rooms and she said yes we do have a lot don't you see all this people here?in 20 min I have time for you...this young lady very arrogant and eating gum was staring at me very angry because of my question she make me wait enough to lose my nice face because she made a call speaking in her language and laughing at the phone then she told me the only room it's at the motel not in the hotel , I tried to explain that I call I tried via internet to reserve and she was continuing saying that only motel motel , I left to talk with my husband, a lot of people get rooms without reserve because we ask around then when I came back and I said yes she was even more arrogant with me and making the check in for hotel to some other clients , I the end we didn't stay there and that's to bad because we like that hotel a lot but I have one advice for her "find yourself another job you lady, you don't belong there!!!" we never had those situations before with any other staff from there . That happen Saturday 20.07.19 around 20h with a blond young lady at the hotel reception! I also have a similar job and just to let you know its normal to speak as many languages as you need that's why you are hiered behind the hotel desk you lady and if you don't like working with public just close yourself somewhere not acting like a baby girl with people that pays your salary!!!! I will return in the hotel because everything it's perfect very comfortable nice food at the restaurant but hope I don't need to see those kind of people after a long...

The room was clean , bads are good , someone made it ice cold , it's true that outside was hot during the day but to come from 32 celsius outside ( 22:00 ) to 20 celsius in the room was not very pleasant. TV ( for those who care ) it's running just few chanels Hungarians and Dutch , wi-fi in my room had poor signal but speed was ok During the night around 2:00 we're some people outside in the "smoking area" that talked until 04:30 until onother costumer asked them to go away, I went around 3:00 to reception where the guy was sleeping better than me :) and ask him to take care of them but he went back to sleep leting me know that he didn't understood the problem or didn't care about it, so if you're willing to stay don't get a room on the ground or first floor with highway view as this might happend as beeing the "smoking area" , for me ......it blown my sleep off for the whole night, my wife slept without problems We arrived at 21:45 and the kitchen was closed allready so we didn't enjoy any dinner ( little early to close for a transit restaurant if you ask me ) so do your diligence right , we came from 1500km ( Aalborg DK ) having in mind to get a "goulash" but distance and unexpected happened so we will wait for that...

I've been using the services offered by the Paprika M1 Hotel for 20 years now and, although the prices have significantly increased in Euro, both for the rooms as well as for the irems on the menu, one can see that the hotel has aged somewhat. The rooms appear to be clean, but on a closer look, housekeeping is very superficial. The shower cabins are mouldy, the window drapes don't make the room completely dark and the reception staff, while friendly, they're only as friendly as they need to be. The à la carte menu is varied, the dishes are tasty, but the prices aren't what they used to be, now they're on parity with any city restaurants. Breakfast is, for yhe lack of a better word, appalling. Nothing tastes good, the coffee is a joke, there's nothing you can put in it to make it better. You can taste that everything is purchased from the cheapest possible source. My advice, skip breakfast altogether and eat at a McDonald's. If you think fastfood breakfast is bad, this is worse. All in all, 3 stars, next time maybe 2. 20 years ago I would have given 5 stars without...
