A place for real getaway - calm atmosphere, very pleasant staff behaviour from frontdesk clerks through housekeeping till spa personnel … I recommend especially for couples who wish to enjoy undisturbed relax time. Beatifullly equipped rooms and comfy lobby to enjoy tea time.

Spa is clean and well maintained - to spend hours in saunas and reading books and resting away from the world outside. Little tip - try also the sauna which is few steps away in the garden. The spa area was big enough, though during our stay the hotel was not crowded, so I cannot say how it is during busy time here.

All complex is private just for hotel guests, still nesting just at the shore of lake to enjoy walks - just use your room key to unlock the gate 🙂. Well balanced and tasty meals - we enjoyed halfboard…

We want to address few words to management as well - all staff was very polite and in most areas very professional, but on the restaurant side would be the culinary experience much better with little more trained staff. The food was delicious, but the servers looked like they take orders and just deliver food and are not trained to welcome guests and present the menu ( which really deserves it as is very tasty indeed) and opportunities to guests. Unfortunately they did not keep eye contact with the tables while moving around restaurant and did not stop very often at the tables in the meantime, to check if we need anything or if we are happy with the food etc. So we had to wait to gain their attention even if there were just few occupied tables. There was plenty of staff during our stay, they were just not well organised sometimes in the dining room. This is just the thing that can be adjusted very easily, so I believe next time we could award full 5 star review all around.

The design is remarkable. The Gate can be the signature of the hotel. A ring what relfects on various places of the hotel like above the fire place and the shapes of the moirrors. The materials I think does not represent the highest quality, but selected carefully. The principle is good a healthy way to escape from the everydays, no stress and any factors linked to it. All the place exuded a zen atmosphere. It has just opened for a few months ago, so it must have a lot to improve, but the crew is very helpful and they welcome the feedbacks, so I hope they will become better and better.|I am not completely satisfied with the size of the wellness area. The sauna cabins are a bit small specially if they have sauna programs (despite of this, a young man who just a few months ago got his paper to hold sauna programs gave us our best experience, but we visited many other sauna programs before), the pool selection is also a bit poor. Many juice mixes contained apple which is not a valueable fruit, often used just to occupy volume from the more expensice ingredients in the hope of greater profit so I would just skip it. The menu selection is not too wide and at the end of the there being became a bit boring, because the menu was the same for lunch and for dinner as well.
