Luxury Spa & Conference Hotel — Hotel in Siófoki járás

Perfect location. 100 m to the lake / beach, 3.5 km to the port, 4 km to the city center. Perfect for cycling.||The very friendly and helpfulling staff has answered from the reservation phase all our requests.||The hotel itself is modern, it offers spacious rooms with panoramic views to the lake. Even if another hotel interposes between the hotel and the lake, the view to the lake is ok from all rooms (which have lake view). From the rooms with city view, the view is also pleasant because the hotel is in a green area, the houses are beautiful and well maintained.||The balconies of the rooms overlooking the lake can be closed with a system of windows that allow you to enjoy views even the weather is not good. Extremely spacious balconies also offer the opportunity to feel perfect.||The food is sufficiently diverse and very tasty, both for breakfast and dinner.||It is for the third time when we are staying in this place and we will definitely come back.||We appreciated the value for money - the price was good because the price for the double room was almost the same as in the season, although we stayed in April and made the reservation more than 6 months before. For the child's accommodation and meal, we did not pay extra.||For those who do not want accommodation with meal included, in the same yard there is the Luxury Apartments - a building identical with this, but with appartments fully equiped.||The cleaning on the balcony has ceased to be desired. ||During the 6 days when we has accomodate, we cleaned the room only ourselves. The hotel staff just completed the paper from the bathroom and emptied...

We booked penthouse apartment for €180 / night. Really not worth of it and they should be shame to call this luxury.||1) They say, they have 24/7 reception - no they really dont have, nobody picked up the phone several times and never called back, when we tried to arrange late check-in. We got answer after 5 hours by email...||2) They say, they speak english - no they really dont. Google translator to Hungarian was the only way to communicate. The lady on check-out spoke english very well.||3) Dinners in restaurant? We came at 17:45 as they say, they are open from morning 7:30 till evening 21:00. Lady told us, that dinners are served after 18:00 to leave restaurant - no English of course. The food was very average...||4) During our stay in the spa alarm went off several times, even thru the dinner - nobody was able to tell what was going on.||5) Gas smell - between apartment building 70C and hotel building - reception was informed, but the gas leak was there until our departure.||6) Worst of all was the state of the penthouse apartment - sticky floor, dead bugs in rooms, dirty dishes in dishwasher, very bad smell in the fridge, dirty and broken shower, no soap or shower gel....||good wifi|really good location|very nice view||Apartments seem to be quite new, but the staff there is really bad. A few changes would really do a totally different experience and the stay would be nice. Now the LUXURY is...

We stayed in a 3 bed apartment for 3 nights.||||I'll start with the good;||Easy to park at||Right on the beach||Pool facilities were good||||The bad;||The apartment was filthy. See picture of armchair! ||Balcony windows filthy as were the balconies and their furniture||Plates/cutlery in the kitchen were dirty and a total mismatch of items.||Pillows lumpy and stained||Duvets stained, duvet covers ripped at ends||Air conditioning had a damp and mouldy smell||Shower holder broken and mould in the cubicle.||No provided towels, soap, shampoo etc.||Furniture in the apartment dated.||Bathrooms were 20 years out of date.||Dead flies and spiders on the walls||We had an ant infestation on our 2nd day.||||Get the general idea? To call this place Luxury is either a joke or mistranslated. This is the sort of place you might go to as a student or a backpacker. To add insult to injury it was not cheap to stay here. We would have given this place 1 star however the staff we dealt with were very helpful when we complained. The manager seemed aware of the issues but admitted they needed updating. They sent cleaners to our room who did a better clean, but we shouldn't have needed to ask for this. ||Probably the owners make a good profit on this place and don't care about making sure it is clean, modern...
