Piano Balaton Apartment — Hotel in Siófoki járás

We really enjoyed our stay in Zamardi. The excellent accommodation we received from Piano Balaton played a huge role. The apartment we stayed in was located in the gated apartment building called Casa Panorama. We were allowed to do early check-in and were greeted by Tibor, who was exceptionally kind and helpful in answering all the questions we had. Communicating with the owner was easy. We were there in early June, before the season started so the parking lot was nearly empty but the weather was wonderful. We stayed in #15 which has a full kitchen (no dishwasher), a dining area with an expandable table, a living room with a pullout sofa, a bedroom with two single beds, and a second bedroom with a queen size bed and a crib. The room with the crib and the living room have direct access to the spacious balcony which overlooks the grassy field that leads to the lake. It was very comfortable for our family of 5; 3 adults and 2 teenagers. The only thing we didn’t like ,which is minor, is that the tub has a stand up shower but no shower curtain so the water splashes out onto the tile. I liked that there was a washing machine and an hairdryer and my daughters really appreciated the air conditioning. There was no iron though. Overall, the apartment was clean and comfortable and just what we were expecting. There are several restaurants and at least one decent grocery store within a short drive. We rented paddle boards at very good prices from supberlessiofok. They were courteous and delivered the boards to the apartment building and picked them up at the end of the day. Paddle boarding was the highlight of my daughters’ vacation. My brother enjoyed fishing at a nearby pier. He purchased a permit online. We really enjoyed being within a short walking distance of Lake Balaton. A big thank you to the owner, Laszlo and to Tibor for opening up their place to us and being responsive to all our needs. The location is really great – it's clean, well-equipped, and wonderfully designed. The spacious terrace and private access to the swimming pool add a fantastic touch. The apartment itself, along with the parking area, is secured within closed gates, which provided a safe spot for us to leave our bikes. We had a wonderful time exploring the nearby Balaton beaches, which were refreshingly uncrowded compared to other places. There is an excellent bike trail along the beach that was even manageable for our 5-year-old daughter.

The host went above and beyond in terms of support and friendliness. This didn't just apply during the booking process, but extended even after our stay.
