It is awful at best. Unfortunately, I was here many times before, and the experience has been declining ever since my first visit. Shops on the site are relatively expensive compared to what I saw in popular supermarkets nearby. Reception was fine; however, the restaurants are horrible as their attitude towards their customers are rude and aggressive. My personal experience with restaurant staff was the following; I ordered a Gyros, calmy sat down, which was followed by a 45 min wait, in that 45 minute, 3 customer, who ordered after me received their mediocre fried fish, with a side of something hungarian soup, whilst one even received a similar plate dish to Gyro without the bread. After the last of the 3 customer received their order, I stood up and began questioning my order. The lady, who was an absolute Karen, told me next time I should tell them sooner. I told them there would not be a next time and received judging faces towards my dissatisfaction. I would not recommend this place to anyone who would like to live a little nightlife as security will shut you down immediately. Poor choices on the site of the camp. However, if you have the possibility, go forward and take a 15-20 min by foot or about 5-8 min with car away and go site seeing. Around the area is a great view. However, take into account that most of them require a lot of money to actually visit.
TL:DR; just for sleep,...
Read moreDisappointment ever since we arrived. They advertise themselves as being a dog friendly facility with cute dog photos on their website but this is just false advertising.
We stayed only one night and confirmed our payment as shown in advance on the website, but when we checked in, they charged us a cleaning fee 15000 huf because of our dog (we already paid for our dogs stay). This surcharge is hidden deep on the website in the house rules, pretty shady and not a small amount, especially for one night.
On top of it, although the check in time shows 12 pm in the confirmation email, they let us in after 3 pm.
Dogs are only allowed to be on the beach in a super tiny dog park where owners can’t really join to sunbathe or enjoy the time. It felt more like a prison rather than a dog friendly beach.
Instead of referring to the house rules about my dog’s hygiene, they should enforce house rules about the noise on the site. There were at least two neighbours blasting music until deep into the night. It was so hard to even just chill let alone sleep. Also staff came to knock on our door past 11 pm to bring bed sheets we didn’t ask for.
Very disappointed also at the receptionist with the “I am just an employee, I can’t help you my hands are tied” attitude.
One of the worst camping experiences, never this...
Read moreHonestly the best camping I have been on so far. Kids and dogs friendly. Bathroom specially for kids with clean bathtub and a changing table, low toilet and sinkp. Nice swimming pool with water warmer than in Balaton which is nice for smaller children. Dog friendly beach with a fence and bags for you know what :) A lot of showers ( with a small shelf where you can put your stuff and its not gonna get wet) and bathrooms facility so there was never a line to wait to use them, always clean. Few bars/restaurants with super nice employees. Really I am back from 5 days camping there and Im recommending Mirabella left and right :) Animations for kids, our son is 2yo so he is a bit to small but next year we are coming back and its gonna be great fun for him :) Shop on a camp site of course Has a higher prices than normal but nice warm breads etc, great for the morning snack. Employees were helpful and nice. We will be back next year definitely. Thanks for nice...
