If you are looking for the lap of luxury there are other choices in Villany that offer more comfortable and modern rooms....But, if you are seeking a warm greeting at check in( plus a nice welcome glass of wine to boot!) genuine hospitality and a lovely dinner then this is a good economical choice. Attila who works the front desk speaks excellent English and was very helpful and kind. Mrs Polgar took a small group of us to cellars where we sampled some of their excellent wine. She is someone who obviously cares about her guests and it really shows in the dinners served at the hotel... With a limited menu that changes with the seasons we had a very nice al-fresco dinner in the peaceful courtyard.||The fresh pea soup poured over crunchy baby aubergines , mild onion and shredded cheese was especially delicious... It is also a good time to try some of their prize winning wines by the glass... If your Hungarian isn't up to snuff Attila will be happy to talk about the varietal and vintage as it is poured... This will be one of your better meals in a town that serves some very nice food... Even if you chose to stay elsewhere It is well worth booking a table...

Upon ordering wines, the bottles were not shown, and we were told nothing about the specific wines which is expected when someone goes for a...

None of them belonged to my favorites before, but that...
