Huber Pension — Hotel in Soproni járás

This is a casual dining place. There are two dining room spaces, one that tends to be a bit quiet and the other a bit noisy. I have eaten here numerous times because it's convenient not necessarily because I love it. The service is not good (compared to the States). The staff ignores you and when they do come act as if they are doing you a favor (typical service here in Europe it seems). The food is good but not consistently good. I've had great food but also horrible food. Not to mention that it can take anywhere from 30-60min to get your food. Which might mean a good thing (like they are making it from scratch) but I highly doubt that is the case here. Still, I come here because it's convenient and a good place to come with children. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to a tourist but...

😊: Hosts are very nice. Anita is beautiful and helpful lady who can recommend to visit attractions around. She did not mind that we arrived 1 hour earlier. Big nice and green yard. You book basically the half of the house with table on the patio which can be shared with you neighbor. And if you lucky you can make some traveling friends. Nice rustic traditional style restaurant located near with deliciously cooked food and great choice of local wine. Breakfast and coffee in the pension are very good: warm omlette, selection of cheese and cold cuts, fresh bread and buns, yogurts, jams, cereal and juice. 😊: Loved the garden and garden furniture. Plenty of parking and some under shade and parking for bikes in a garage. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
