The Blacksmith Inn — Hotel in Szekszárdi járás

A nice guesthouse, with 4 rooms and 2 lobbies, located on a hill at Szekszard's heart. The services are impeccable and the rooms really warms and very clean.|I have stayed there for one night (unfortunately, but I hope to be there soon again) during a tour of some wineries in the area. The owner was very helpful; he offered us every information we needed, even more than we expected. I was surprised when he told us that he will talk with some winemakers he knows in order to promote there our products.|Overall it is a location perfect for a group of friends interested to visit Szekszard (lovely little town) or amateurs of wine tasting.|Everything...

We spent here 3 nights. The location is great: the beautifully refurbished old house transformed into a guesthouse was built on a wine hill, not far from downtown. If you come by car, be prepared to drive a steep road (perhaps 100 m long) up to the spacious parking lot. The place is absolutely clean. Our host Miklós was very friendly and helpful. He prepared great breakfasts for the 2 of us and gave lots of useful hints on where to go, what to see. As he explained, most of the furniture was made by him. The house is located a couple of hundred meters away from the center of Szekszard, rather accessible by car. It is a beautiful little home with nice view on the valley, super clean and well equipped rooms. There is a lobby/kitchen on the ground floor where breakfast is served to guests in the morning by the owner(?). Stylish interior, good for groups on a wine tasting...
